Hikaru's Past

It's been 2 weeks since my cousins visited. I was at Anashford Academy but Hikaru hasn't come in for 2 weeks!...

/At Anashford Academy/:
/Lunch/:
Oka- *sitting at a lunch table* 'I wonder why Hikaru hasn't come... and for 2 weeks... I hope he's okay... He's been different ever since my cousins left..' 'And was he crying..? He looked upset after he left...' 'I wish I knew what's bothering him...' 'It sure is boring here without him...'

/Time Skip/:
I decided to go to the office and ask for Hikaru's address. Once they gave it to me I waited for school to end.

/At Hikaru's house/:
So this is his house. It's nice.

Oka- *knocks on the door*

Hikaru- *opens the door* *coughs* Hey Oka..

Oka- Hey Hikaru... *walks inside*

Hikaru- What are you doing here?

Oka- You haven't come to school for 2 weeks. So I cam to see if you were alright. Cause I was worried about you.

Hikaru- You were worried about me?

Oka- Well yeah... *blushes slightly*

Hikaru- *smiles* *sneezes*

Oka- Your sick...

Hikaru- No.. Just a cold. I'm fine.

Oka- Nope I know a sick person when I see one. *brings him to his room*

/In Hikaru's room/:
Hikaru- But Oka I'm-

Oka- Nope. *puts him in his bed* Don't worry Hikaru. I'll take care of you.

Hikaru- Really...

Oka- *smiles*Yes now just get some rest.

Hikaru- Okay.

Oka- *sits down* 'Wow I'm tired..' 'I'm just glad Hikaru is okay...' *heart starts beating* 'That's weird why is my heart beating like this... It's probably nothing.' *falls asleep*

/Time Skip/:
Hikaru- *wakes up* 'Wow I feel much better.' *sees Oka asleep* *gets up* *smiles* 'She looks beautiful asleep... But I guess I should wake her up but how...' *tries everything but she's still asleep* 'She's like sleeping beauty... maybe I could wake her up the same way in the movie...' *kisses Oka on the lips*

Oka- *wakes up* *blushes* Did you just...

Hikaru- Good your awake.

Oka- Hikaru! Why did you do that! What if Tasuku-

Hikaru- He wouldn't know.

Oka- Hey Hikaru.. why did you leave so suddenly.. and were are your parents...

Hikaru- I don't have any... My parents got divorced a week after their marriage. So I lived with my dad for while but... he started drinking which caused him to be abusive towards me. So he pretty much sent me to live with my aunt. A few days later my dad died in a car crash, my mom died by a plane crash cause she was a pilot, and my aunt was hit by a car that same day... so I lost everything in a flash.... *tears up* I was sent off to an orphanage... it took me awhile to get adopted but once I did I regretted it. The family barely payed attention to me and left me in this very house about 2 days later I heard the family that adopted me adopted a different child. So they abandoned me... so I never had a family... or a birthday.... I never knew what love was like.. but when I saw you upset on your first day at Anashford. I knew you were special. I knew you could be a friend I could count on. You were the first friend I ever had... and- *looks at Oka to see her crying*

Oka- Hikaru... I never knew..

Hikaru- *puts his hands on her cheeks* I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry like this... its just that you were the first friend I ever had and the first one I ever loved...

Oka- But Hikaru... I-

Hikaru- I know you don't love me back but... I want to be there for you...

Oka- What do you mean.

Hikaru- *kisses her cheek* I mean I want to protect you. Your a princess you have your protective prince but when your prince isn't there who will protect you...

Oka- I- um...

Hikaru- I will. I'll be your knight. I will protect when Tasuku can't...

Oka- But- why do you want to protect me...

Hikaru- Because... I- care about you... I don't want to lose you... I don't want to be alone again...

Oka- Hikaru.... but your not alone...

Hikaru- I'm not?

Oka- No your not. You have friends by your side that will never leave you.

Hikaru- *hugs her* Thank you Oka... I promise that I'll always protect you... 
*lets go*

Oka- *smiles*

Hikaru- *smiles*  'I promise I'll be your loyal knight standing by your side no matter what...'
