So we went back to Kay Jewelers and I have the promise ring in my hand. All I have to do is go home and give it to her. A few minutes later, we are home. Sarah is so excited. We walk in the house. I call Bryce, and Evie downstairs. They all look at me like I'm crazy except for Sarah because she knows what's going on.
"Evie come here. Come stand right here right in front of me" I say. I see Sarah whisper to Bryce. I bet you she's telling him what I'm about to do. Evie is smiling. "What are you doing?"she asked me.
"Evie, I love you so much. I was gonna say ever since I met you, I knew you were the one for me, but that's not true. I didn't really like you a lot, then I got to know you more. And I thought wow, this girl is something special. She needs a guy like me in her life to take care of her. So here I am with the one that I love. You, that's you Evie Lee. And I have something for you" I pull out the ring. "This ring, is a promise ring. It means that I will always love you. And that I will always care for you. And that I will always be by your side. I love you so freaking much Evie. And I want you to be mine forever. Do you give me permission to put this ring in your finger?" I ask her. "Yes of course" she said.
So I put the ring on her finger and she starts crying. I give her a hug. Then I lift her head up with my finger and kiss her on the lips. It was such a passionate kiss. I hug her again. "It's beautiful. I love it. I love you so much Mark Thomas. Don't you ever forget that" she said to me. "I love you too. And trust me, I won't forget that you love me" I say.
Next thing I know, I hear Bryce and Sarah clapping. Sarah was crying. She came up to us and gave us a hug. Bryce joined in as well. "Guys, it's like we're getting married or something. There is a lot of tears happening" I say laughing. Everyone starts laughing too. Something else happens that no one ever saw coming.
