It was that time of year, yay. Prom. The time where everyone gets asked with these big presentations and it's a happy time.

Well as for me, I'm a loner. I've only had two boyfriends in high school and the longest relationship was 4 months.

I'm not really well known around the school. I don't really socialize. I'm really just on my phone a lot.

Two weeks before prom

It was Wednesday morning. I had History 1st period. My favorite class, mainly because this guy named Nick is in the class.

He's perfect. Like oh my god. His messy hair but like in a good way. His big brown eyes. And his lips oh my lord and his smile. It's all perfect.

I've had a crush on this boy since the first day of school. Even though he's never really noticed me.

But today was different. He actually looked at me.

"Hey." He said looking in my direction. I turned around to see if there was anyone behind me.

"M-me?" I asked.

"Yeah." He chuckled.

Oh my god oh my god. Why the hell is he taking to me?

The bell rang and class started but the whole time Nick kept looking at me.

"Mr. Robinson? Would do you like to explain why you keep on making eye contact with Ms. Mota?" Mr. Elkons asked.

"U-uh no sir." Nick said quietly.

"Very well." Mr. Elkins continued.

The rest of the day went by and then came lunch. I really just sit alone and go in my phone. Nick sits with a bunch of other guys who are total jerks but I believe that he isn't like that.

I sat down with a yogurt and after ten minutes Nick walked over to me and sat down.

I looked up and saw him and he scared me at first.

"Oh my god Nick don't do that!" I gasped.

"Oh sorry I didn't mean to." Nick said laughing a little.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Okay well I've kinda liked you for a while and I was wondering if you'd like to go to prom with me?" He asked.

I was seriously about to like spit out my yogurt. Was he joking with me? I actually need time to process what he just said to me.

"Uhhh you're serious?" I asked.

"Completely." He smiled.

" I- I don't know."

"Please? Just give me one chance." He begged.

"Okay."

...

Today was the day. I had my dress. It was a long blue dress. I had my hair curled and a winged eyeliner with mascara, red lipstick and a little bit of shimmer.

I didn't want to go all out but still make it look like I was trying.

Then I heard a knock at my door but my mom beat me to it.

We did the whole picture stuff and she talked to Nick and then we were on our way.

Once we got there he instantly wanted to dance. And he wanted to be in the exact center of the dance floor.

When we were about 30 minutes through Nick asked me for punch.

"Yeah sure." I said.

Once he left I saw one of his friends look at me and laugh.

was there something on my dress? Or face? Was there something wrong with my hair?

Then Nick came back.

"GO!" He yelled.

Then all of a sudden someone dumped some kind of liquid that smelled horrible all over me from up above.

I stood there speechless with my mouth wide open and my cheeks getting hot. Tears were forming.

"Oh sweetie close your mouth you might catch flies." Nick said giving me a pouty face. Then he started laughing hard and so did everyone else in the room.

Then I started crying and I ran out.

I ran all the way home.

I knew it was too good to be true. I know there was some kind of catch. I should have never trusted that fucking bastard. I'm so embarrassed and so pissed off. I was crying my eyes out.

I didn't want to face school. I didn't want to see them and I didn't want to even go outside my room.

He fucking crossed the line.
