"Cinderella, do you mind coming here for a second?", said my stepmother.
I heard my stepmother call me. I walked into the room she was in.
"Finish doing this list of chores by 6:30. I'm going to go shopping with your stepsisters right now. By the time, I get home you better finish all the chores."
"Okay, I will."
She handed me the list of chores I had to complete before 6:30. The list of chores was about two pages long.
*Current Time: 1:15 pm*
My stepmother and two stepsisters had left to go shopping for the party. I only had about 5 hours to complete all the chores before they came back from shopping. I looked at the list.
List of Chores
- Make the beds
- Sweep the floors
- Take the trash out
- Do the dishes
- Mow the lawn
- Do the laundry
- Vacuum
- Dust
- Mop floor
- Wash windows
- Change bed sheets
- Weed the garden
- Water flowers
- Brush the pet
- Organize shelves
- Etc

"How am I supposed to finish all these chores by 6:30?!" I groaned. I started to do my first chore, make the beds. I went into my stepmother's room first and made her bed then I went to my stepsisters' rooms. After I made the beds in my stepmother and stepsisters' rooms, I started sweeping the house on the second floor and made my way down to the first floor. "The house is so clean already. Like why should I clean it?" I rolled my eyes. Next thing on the list was to take out the trash. I went and took all the trash from the rooms and brought it outside to the trash can. I've finished three chores and I was up to my fourth chore which was to do the dishes. I went to the kitchen to put all the plates, bowls, cups and silverware into the dishwasher. While I was waiting for the dishes to be washed inside the dishwasher, I went to put the dirty clothes into the washing machine. After I put the clothes into the washer I went back into the kitchen to take out the dishes and dry them.
*2 Hours Later*
*Current Time: 6:00*
"Oh my god..." I fell back onto the couch. "That was so tiring. Thank god I finally finished all my chores!"
I fell asleep for half an hour.
*30 Minutes Later*
*Current Time: 6:30*
My stepmother and stepsisters came home. I was still on the couch sleeping.
*Stepmother's POV*
"Okay girls, now go to your room and get ready for the party later! I'm going to go check on Cinderella."
"Yes, mother," said my daughters.
I walked into the living room and found Cinderella laying down on the couch sleeping. I walked over to her and yanked her by the hair.
"CINDERELLA WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING RIGHT NOW?!"
Cinderella woke up and looked up at me.
"I finished all my chores early so I went to rest and I ended up falling asleep on the couch," said Cinderella.
"JUST BECAUSE YOU FINISHED ALL YOUR CHORES EARLY DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU CAN REST YOU DIPSHIT!"
"I'm sorry mother..."
"YOU BETTER BE!"
