It was another morning. My alarm clock went off. I got up and got ready for school.

I started to walk to school. When I reached there I saw a couple of my friends waiting for me.

My name is Simran.

I'm a Sikh.

I went over and greeted all my friends,

As I was all most done putting things in the locker, I saw him.

He looked so beautiful. I loved him. But no one knew. And it was going to stay like that.

My life being a Sikh is phenomenal. But there is one thing I hate about it, and that is getting bullied.

Constantly.

I can't cut my hair. That is perfectly fine to me though.

He started to walk over to me.

"Hey Simran" He said

"Hi" I said very shyly.

"You know the prom is coming up" He said very proudly.

My heart skipped a beat. Is he going to ask me to go to the prom with him?

"yeah I know" I said smiling at him

He looked at me then licked his lips. God I loved him so much.

"I need your help, I need you to go ask your best friend Love if she would like to go with me". He looked at me with hope.

"ok" I said disappointed. But then again why would he go to the prom with me?

**Next Month**

It was the night of the prom.

And i was alone once again. I stood there single. I walked down the stairs. Alone.

It was fine though i was used to it.

Everyone was looking at me with wide eyes. I quickly went down the staires.

I took my mask and put it on my head.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I spinned around. I was face to face with a boy. He had brown hair.

I got lost in his blue ocean eyes.

"Excuse me but you look really beautful today" He said.

I knew exactly who it was.

Shea.

The boy who I was in love with.
