Never Ending Love

Chapter 14

**A month later. July 25, 2013**

"Aubrey." Mom called out from her hostipal bed. "Yes, mom." I say going to her bed side. "Hand me my water." She said in a weak voice. "  I nodded and handed her water bottle to her. "I'll be right back mom." I say walking towards the door. I open the door and close it slowly behind me. "How is she doing?" Harry said coming up to me and wrapping his arms around me. "She's doing okay now, I just can't believe how quick this was to hit her, it was like just what last month she was doing everyting now she can't even lift a bottle of water." I felt tears swelling in my eyes as I think about Ellie, what's going to happen to her. If mom doesn't make it then what will happen to me and Ellie. I shouldn't be thinking of these thoughts but they cross my mind. 

"Aubrey, she's going to be okay. I can't promise it but all we can do is just pray to God that she makes it through this." Harry says hugging me tighier. I felt the tears slpash on my cheeks as harry stands there and holds me close. "I don't know what I'll do without her Harry.." I cry into his chest. He pulls away to away to were we're face to face. "I understand that, I thought I wasn't going to make it without my dad, I had the bad thoughs of harming myself just to be with him, but I didn't, it takes time and you have to be stronge, besies you have Ellie to look over.." He said as tears formed in his eyes. I cuddle back into his chest as a heard a small cry come from my moms room. I pull away from Harry and we both rushed into my moms room. "Yes!" I yell out. "G-gget the doctor!" She yelled out. My heart started to race as  I ran down the hostipal hall yelling help. "HELP, HELP!" A nurse in all pink scrubs run up to me. "What is it?" She tries to calm me down. "My mom in room 303 she needs a doctor!" I say in a quite yell. "I'm on my way I have to get Dr.Anya" I nodded and ran back to her room. "Mom Dr.Anya is on her way." She yelled out in pain. "I'm here.. Mrs.Pierson what's wrong?" She said walking over to her.

"I have a lot of chest pain!" She yelled out once more. "NURSE NURSE!" The dorctor yelled out. "What's going on with her!" I shout at the doctor. "Ma'am shes having a heart attack, if we don't get her to the ICU she might not make it." She said to me calmly. I nodded and watched as they took rolled her out and to the nearest elevator. "Aubrey let's go!" Harry said grabbing me and walking to the elevator. As we got in and Harry pressed the '5' button I felt my heart start to race again. "Harry, I'm scared." I said as I grab and intertwine are fringers. "I'm scared too Aubrey, remember just stay strong."

The elvator doors open and we rush to the front desk. "Hell how may I help you?" The colored woman asked me. "Yes I'm looking for Ellen Pierson." She typed in something on her out dated computer. "Yes, shes in room 566, which is right down the hall to the left." She said pointing towards her left. I nodded and me and Harry walked towards that way. We reach the room and I see her hooked up on all these meachines. "Are you the daughter?" Dr.Anya says as she walks over to me. "Yes." I say in a shaky voice. "Can you step outside for a second?" I nodded and we left Harry and mom in the room.

"Ms.Pierson, your mother had a widowmaker heart attack and on top of that with cancer is not very good. She's on Life Spport, with that she'll stay alive but we have no farther hope for her." She said and then she walked down the hall. I backed towards the walland just slid down on my knees. I started crying because I knew I could lose my mom in a matter of weeks, days, hours, minutes, or even seconds. "Aubrey." i heard Harry say as opened the door. He kneels down in front of em and just rubs my arm. "Aubrey what did she say?" I whipped my eyes and looked up at him. "She said theres no hope for her." I cry into my lap once again.  He helps me off the floor and into my moms room. "Here, I'll get you some juice." Harry said walking towards the door and then disappearing behind it. I just sat there and looked at her. I watched at the meachines beeped and made noises. I got up and pulled my chair to her right side and I held her hand tighly. Tracing the vher detailed veins. "Mom, please don't leave me. I need you. Ellie needs you. I can't imagine my life without you right now. Mom, if you can hear me squeeze my hand or do something."

I felt her grip get tighter then softer.

"Mom...I love you."
