Never Ending Love

Chapter 22

**Aubreys P.O.V****

I had gotten a call from Perrie saying they think moms not going to make it. I can't imagine my life without her. GraceLynn and Sophie's life without her. I put the though of her dying in the back of my mind because I knew it wouldn't happen. I had tears streaming down my face. I parked my car as close to the entrance as possible and I rushed in. "May I hel-" the nurse stopped as I ran passed her and down the hall. The thoughts of her came back to haunt my mind. I was very scared at this point. I made it to her room when I opened the door slowly. "Mom..." I said as I seem her hooked up to many mechanics and struggling to breathe. "Mom." I cried out as I went to her side. I just cried as I held her hand and squeezed.

"Hello, are you the daughter?" A man dressed in white said. "Yes I'm her daughter." I say as I stand to meet him. "Miss I'm sorry buts there's nothing else we can do for your mother at this point. She's gone brain dead and she can't breathe on her own. I'm sorry but we want to pull the plug. It's your decision. I'll be back shortly for your decision." I walked back into the room to see Niall standing beside her bed side. Niall was Perries oldest and only son, he was around my age but I was a few days older. "Niall." I said rushing over to him as tears lured from his face. "Aubrey, I'm so sorry." He said hugging me tightly." I cried into his chest because he was taller than me.

I turned to sit when I seen someone sitting there. It was Liam. Liam was my other cousin, but he was my moms other sister son, Anna. "Liam!" I said while he stood and hugged my tightly. Liam used to practically live with us and Niall did as well. Liam is older than me and Niall by two years. "What did the doctor say?" Liam said as they both stared at me. "She's lost, she's brain dead and can't breathe on her own. I have to sign papers in a matter of minutes to have her unplugged." Tears begin to fall again as I heard another knock at the door.

"Come in." I say as the large doors opens. It was the doctor with the papers.

"Sign here." He said with a shaky voice. I wrote my name on the dotted line and handed the paper back to the doctor. "Well let you have time to call the family." He said while glancing back at my mom and then at me. I nodded and he walked out. I turned to see Niall on his phone and Liam as well. "How are you guys talking to?" I asked then both. "I'm on the phone with mom." Niall said. "I'm as well talking to mom a d telling her to call the rest if the family." Liam said. I nodded and pulled out my phone. It was around 5:30 and I knew Harry would be up so I dialed his number.

Harry&I's;Conversation

Harry-Aubrey?

I-Harry, there's nothing else they can do. I had to sign the papers.

Harry- What papers.

I- To unplug her. Can you come down here?

Harry-Im going to call mom and take them up there. I'll be about ten minutes.

I- alright just hurry please.

Harry- I will. I love you.

I-I love you.

Harry had worried tone. I started crying once again. It was hard losing your mother. She's the one person you never wanted to see cry, the one you never wanted to see mad or sad. She's the only person who will love you more than any boy and well anything.

-----A few moments later----

*knocks at the door**

"Come in." I said while remaining my grip on her hand. It was Harry and her doctor. He's a new doctor for her because I've never seen him. He name tag listed 'Dr. Samuel Cruise'. Harry came over to me and just wrapped his arms around me. He held me tight and my heart was clinching as the nurse came in and unhooked the machines.

"Aubrey, I'm sorry for your loss." Niall said while hugging me tightly. "I called mom and she said she'll call the funeral home and make arrangements but you have to be there." I nodded as the tears fell. "Aubrey, she was such a wonderful woman. I'm sorry for your loss." Liam said holding me tight as well.

They had left and it was just me and my mother in the room. Her line was almost flat when I said these words.

"Mom how could you, how could you leave me! I need you! I need you! Mom please don't! What about my kids and what about Ellie! Momma. I miss you. I love you and I can't do this I can't do this. Momma I love you!"

Her line was flat and she was on her way. I cried into her hand that I had been holding. "Momma, I love you." I said one last time as the doctors came in and asked me if I was okay. I nodded and walked out if the room. "Aubrey." Harry said running up to me and holding me. He kissed my forehead and we just stood there. I rose my head up to see our eye contact. "We should go I have to go to my moms." I nodded and we walked to the exit and I felt my heart rate raise as we left. My arm started to Hirt and go numb. "H-hhar...."
