                                              As I was staring
at the moon shining above me
I started thinking
What could've happened?
                          If I have told you
how my heart feels 
when I'm with you.
What could've happened? 
                          If I've gained the courage
to hold on your hand
and run away, as you wished.
What could've happened? 

                          If I've pushed my fears
and embraced love's truth
that it's natural to have cheers with tears.
What could've happened? 
                          If I've trusted you,
and just closed my eyes
as the roller coaster glides.
What could've happened? 
                          What could've happened?
                          Maybe it's me you're holding tight.
Maybe it's me you're missing at night.
Maybe it'll be me in your prayers.
Maybe it'll be me in your dreams.
                          But I did not.
I let time pass us by.
I let distance tear us apart.
I let silence kill the love that once we've had.
                          And now ...
Why am I crying?
