(Reader's PoV)

We walked to the edge of the forest. When we got there Toby took off his goggles and mouth guard for the first time in my presence. He had gorgeous caramel colored eyes.

"I have to take them off so people don't suspect me," Toby explained.

In return I smiled and replied, "That's alright. I think you look good without them." He blushed at this.

"Come on before we're late," he stated. He took my hand in his and started running towards what looked like an old coffee shop.

"This place has great waffles," Toby replied as we entered. He led me over to a booth and we sat down.

"What can I get you guys to drink?" A young waitress asked. She had light brown hair with blue at the bottom and a matching shade of blue eyes. Her uniform was blue jeans, a pale yellow dress shirt, and an apron.

"I'd like coffee with cream, please," Toby replied.

"Hot tea for me," I stated. The waitress took down our orders and went back and made them.

When she came back with her drinks she asked, "Are you ready?"

"I would like your homemade waffles and same for the lady," Toby replied.

She wrote it down and replied, "They'll be done in five minutes."

"Thank you," I replied and then she left.

"So, how often do you come here?" I asked Toby.

"Not a lot anymore, but we would come here when I was real little," he replied.

"That's cool," I stated. For the rest of the time we waited we sat quietly sipping on our drinks. Before I knew it our waffles were being brought out to us.

"Here you go and enjoy," she replied.

"Thank you," Toby and I stated.

"It's not a problem, loves," she answered and left.

I took a bite of the waffles and they were one of the best things I have ever tasted.

"Waffles are better freshly and homemade," Toby informed, taking a bite of his.

"I can tell. These are really good," I stated. After we finished our amazingly delicious waffles, we payed and left.

"Next, is the park," Toby replied and started running off towards the park

"Toby wait up!" I called after him and started chasing him to the park. When he stopped running, I saw we were at the swings.

"Sit down," Toby commanded. I did as he said. He then started to push me and I began to laugh like a little kid.

"Higher!" I squealed. Toby pushed me up higher by the time he stopped pushing me I was going a good twenty feet in the air. After the swing stopped swinging, I saw it was around dusk.

"Now what?" I asked.

"Now we take a stroll," Toby replied and stood me up. We strolled around for a few minutes until we came to a bench and sat.

"This was great. We should do it again sometime," I suggested.

"Yeah. We should," Toby agreed. We stared into each other's eyes for a few minutes, which felt like eternity, and then started to lean towards each other. When our lips touched it felt like fireworks going off.

The perfect end to a perfect day.

The end.
