Envy
Chapter One (Day)
Fourteen Years
Note: Because Day hasn't gotten any schooling about numbers and such, Topaz and Ruby taught her as much as a Pokemon could teach a human. I'll put the translations for her words at the end of the chapter. And now, onto the story!

“Happy firstday to us, happy firstday to us. Happy firstday to Night and meee, happy firstday to us,” I sang in a sad voice, laying on my back.
It was tenfour years since I last saw Night. He's really just a memory now: just a face in the past that I love dearly. I don't want that to happen, but Topaz, Ruby, and Jewel have moved on. They response to only me now, and whenever I mention Night's name, Topaz's eyes seem sad, but it only last for a few seconds. Jasper, on the other hand, hasn't and will never forget my twin brother and his best friend.
Ruby and Topaz bumped into me as they wrestled. Jewel's carefree cries of “Go! Go! Ooo, Ruby's down! Oh! Nice payback!” carried throughout the forest. Many Weedles and Caterpies came and watched the Cheering Pokemon as they played. Jasper laid on my stomach, ears down. He was sleeping, or at least I think he was sleeping.
I sighed deeply. The forest wasn't as fun anymore. I knew all the pathways and the trees. You could cover my eyes, spin me around, place me deep in the forest, and I could find my way out, or a certain spot. Because of that, whenever I play hide and seek, I'm always found. I always use the same spot to hide.
I rolled over, but Jasper had already jumped off, disappearing somewhere. I pushed myself up, glancing down at my dress. It was torn in so many places. I frowned, wondering what I should do. I glanced up and noticed a Weedle. Of course. They were the ones that made my dress in the first place.
“Weedle,” I said. The little worm Pokemon came up beside me. “Can you fix my dress and make it longer?”
“Yup!” Weedle squeaked, grinning, “Guyz! We have to fix Day'z drezz!”
A five or six Weedles of different sizes came over to me. They formed a circle around me and, using String Shot, fixed the holes and made the bottom of the dress longer until it reached my ankles. Once it was finished, I told them that they did a good job and could come over whenever they wanted. Happy, the Weedles left the clearing and went back to their own homes.
I spun around once or twice in my new dress. Satisfied, I turned to climb my tree and take a quick nap.
“DAY!!” Ruby suddenly screeched, appearing out of nowhere. I quickly faced my Plusle, gathering her in my arms and held her like a human baby. She was crying, and Topaz wasn't near. Both were unusual.
“What's wrong Ruby?” I asked, stroking her head.
She sniffled. “T-Topaz and me was playing-fighting, when s-some kind of Pokemon I-I didn't know comes up and takes him away!” I froze. A Pokemon Ruby didn't know? Could it be. . .?
“Where did the Pokemon take Topaz away?!” I asked, hoping she would give me an answer.
“This w-way!” she cried, leaping from my arms and running away from my tree. I rushed after her, dodging branches, Pokemon, and other plants.
We quickly arrived where the Pokemon had taken the Minun. Tree were scared with deep claw marks, and there were a few leaves that had been electrified. I quickly glanced around, then turned to Ruby.
“Where'd they go?” I asked calmly.
“T-that way,” she sniffed, pointing towards a fallen, hollow log large enough to fit at least tensix of me. It was that way, huh?
