Chapter 6

Later she was awaken by Tay, who was confused as much as anyone.

Tay: " I been calling you."

Lola: " My phone broke."

Lola pointed to the broken phone on the night stand.

Tay: " Oh so like have you decided what to do, are you staying with me and letting him be apart of his child's life or are you leaving me and just you and Envy go to one of your homes?"

Lola: " Tay I'm staying with you and we're getting married, he's goin to do whatever he wants for his child. Now can I just please have some time to myself?"

Tay: " Yeah, I'm going to go and order you a new phone baby."

Lola: " Thanks!"

The next morning Lola woke up and Tay was not in the bed, she looked around the room and it was quiet. She got up and went to take a shower, after she got out the shower she grabbed the remote to her closet. She pressed combo 794 and then 602, out came the famous 'little black dress' by Chanel and red bottom stilettos. She realized she was missing accessories, she pressed 15 and out came ruby earrings and a diamond and ruby encrusted necklace to match.

Lola got dressed and then ordered a plain bagel to be on the table when she got down stairs. After she went to go and get her daughter dressed, she entered the room and the bed was made up, the room was clean, and Envy was no where in sight. Lola ran down stairs and asked the butler if he had seen Tay or Navo'j, he answered no and she went into a frenzy. She ran to the house phone and called Tay's cell phone, he answered and said good morning to her.

Lola: " Do you have Envy?"

Tay: " Yeah, you looked like you needed your sleep and she was woke so I took her out for some breakfast."

Lola: " Tay, don't ever do that again, at least leave a note or let the butler know to tell me."

Tay: " Okay calm down we bought to walk through the door anyway."

Lola: " Bye Tay."

They hung up and Lola grabbed her Chanel shades and clutch, Tay and Envy walked through the door.

Envy: " Mommy pretty."

Lola: " Thanks sweetie."

Tay had a confused and worried look on his face.

Lola: " Tay baby what are you doing today?"

Tay: "Nothing...why you ask?"

Lola: " Because we're going out and Envy is going to go spend time with her father."

Tay: " Her biological father, have you called him, does he know she's coming over?"

Lola: " Nope but he said that he wants to get to know her, so im going to let him get to know her."

They all left out in Lola's new Honda and drove to Marquiz house. Once in front of his house Lola grabbed Tay's phone and called Marquiz.

Marquiz: " Yeah, who diz?"

Lola: " Hey, it's Lola"

Marquiz: " Oh what's up la-la?"

Lola: " Oh, I haven't been called that in a long time."

Marquiz: " That's cause you been away so long."

Lola: " Humm, well what you doing today."

Marquiz: " Nothing, why what up?"

Lola: " You mind watching Envy today?"

Marquiz: " Who?"

Lola: " Navo'j, your child, you wanna spend the day with her and get to know her?"

Marquiz: " Oh yeah, I aint doing nothing today."

Lola: " So can you open the door then please?"

They hung up and she walked Envy up to the door.

They both entered and he picked Envy up.

Envy: " Mama, who he?"

Lola: " Baby, that's your daddy, your real daddy."

Envy looked at Marquiz and gave him a kiss on the check, he smiled and stared at her in her eyes.

Marquiz: " You got me and your mommy eyes, her lips, my nose, and her smile."

Envy: " Yeah her say I have pretty eyes that mind her of the pass."

Marquiz: " Really? Well what you wanna do today, you wanna go to the toy store?"

Lola: " Please don't spoil her."

Envy: " Yeah I wanna toy."

Marquiz: " Okay we goin go get you some toys."

Lola left out the house and walked back to her car.

Tay: " So where we going baby mother?"

Lola: " We going out, on a date and you going have fun. But first you gotta go get all dressed up like me."

Tay: " You know I Don't get dressed up."

Lola: "Well we going out somewhere nice, and if you loved me you would do it."

Tay: " I do, that's why im marrying your crazy self. Lets go home so I can put something nice on."

Lola: " We going shopping, you can get something nice from there, and we can get some accessories."

Tay: " Alright."

After shopping, Tay came out the outlet mall with a brand new Giorgio Armani suit on, Giorgio Armani cologne on, and an engagement ring that was diamond encrusted. On the inside of the ring were the words "Tay n Lola Thru Thick n Thin." They were now officially engaged. Tay had no idea what he was in for that night, alls he knew was that they were going out. Lola had everything planned out just right, she had no intentions on telling Tay where they were going.

Lola pulled the car up in the parking lot of the Ritz-Carlton hotel, She kissed Tay and said that this was their early honeymoon.

Tay: " You went through all this trouble for us to have a early honeymoon, I love you babe."

Lola: " Love you too."

Lola walked inside, checked them in, and walked back to the car and pulled off.

Tay: " What's wrong?"

Lola: " Nothing. We bout to go get some dinner, you honestly don't think I was goin let us eat there, cuz if so I'm insulted."

They laughed and Lola drove to Tay's favorite place to eat, they didn't eat there a lot because of how expensive it was. Food there ranged from $100 for a chefs famous salad, to $3,500 for an ice cream sundae with edible real gold candies and a solid gold cup and spoon its served with that the customer keeps.

Tay: " Damn boo you going all out, now lets go celebrate us, through thick and thin."

Lola: "Till death do us part baby."
