A dark day in Texas. The sound and smell of fire fills the air. My head hurts from all the screaming. Boom the city of Dallas is under attack. We flea to the basement. Save inside I feel some things not right. My mom does a head count. One short my brothers not to be seen. My mom starts to cry with no control. Only me my mom and dad are left stuck in this dark basement. Damp and dark my nightmares come to life. Flick the light pops on. The world comes in to view. Sadness makes the air hard to breath. My brother only 8 years of age. His hair was long and undone.
I remember all that is lost to day. Making it like a heavy bar on my chest. I can't hold back the rain I start to cry. Weeping can't help me now. Hours pass. The bombs have stopped. The screaming is no longer there. Caned food lines the wall. The air is thin. Not kidding we running out of air down here the basement has a air lock door and an a/c filtered the air but when the power went out it shut down. My dad stands up fast and screams right at us I can't take this. Open that door. Mom gets defensive stop yelling at the kid they're already scared. I jump to my feet. Stop this nonsense before we use up all the air I yelled. My dad was right. we need to open the door. We all agreed to do it my dad counts down from three. The door swings open. light fills the room like hope has risen. The next part will be in 2 weeks guys. Please leave a note so I can know how the next part should go. 12/18/15
