"Oh my God!! Creagan get out of the way!" Cameron yelled. She pushed the kid behind her out of the way and down quickly, her fast reflexes in action and jumped on top of him. A bomb went off right where they were standing two seconds before. Thankfully they were sheltered by the brick wall in front of them.
"I've got to go, but don't doubt that I'll come back to finish you guys later." a singsong voice called out and the two teens heard footsteps going away from them and a car engine running. "Bye! Have fun while you still can cuz I've decide to kill you NOW." the voice said and a gas canister landed right in front of where they were hiding.
"GET UP! NOW!" Cameron yelled as she pulled Creagan up. "That canister is full of poison gas and it's about to go off now. Let's go!" Cameron said and began to run dragging Creagan after her.
Once they were roughly 5 blocks away from where the canister was they stopped. Cameron turned to Creagan and slapped him.
"Oww, what was that for?" Creagan said in a whining tone.
"Did you even know who that was? Did you kow who we were up against when you stupidly jumped up and offered to fight the guy?"
"Uh no?"
"Exactly, no. So next time remember what I taught you today and don't risk putting yourself in danger just because you want some adventure.
If it was up to me you wouldn't even go on another mission."
"So are you gonna tell me who we were up against?"
"It was one if Joker's minions ok. Now just leave me alone for a few minute while I try to find the ...." Cameron trailed off as she began to look around for something.
"Wait, I'm sorry ok. Please don't be mad at me." Creagan said to Cameron his eyes wide and pleading. "That was really stupid of me and I won't do it again."
Cameron turned to him and shrugged.
"So, forgiven?"
"Yea I guess you're forgiven."
Creagan put out his fist out for a fist bump and Cameron fist bumped him.
"Now let's race." Cameron said grinning widely and took off.
"Oh, come on." Creagan groaned and took off running also.
