Grey's POV( OMG Selena slays all day)

"I've had enough of your shit, all you do is make my life miserable and to be honest I'm so done with you and your lies," my mother cried. Today is my birthday, I'm turning 10 but guess what my parents are fighting as per usual, although this one seems pretty big.

"Please don't do this Mary! I'm sorry! jus give me one more chance. Please don't leave! What will our kids do" my father begged. Daddy looked terrible, he had tears stains all over his shirt and was on his knees begging for mom to stay. While my mom was crying and packing her suitcase ready to leave.

"I cant do this anymore! I've given you enough chances and you wont ever change so goodbye" mom walked out of the door and my dad fell on the floor crying his heart out. I couldn't believe this was happening to my perfect family. Suddenly, my dad got up and ran to his room and I followed him there making sure he wouldn't see me. I stood behind the door peeping through watching him pull out a gun he had since he was a police man. My pules quickened as I saw him point the gun on his head...

"Nooo stop!!" I sprang up on my bed with sweat covering all over my forehead. Mike ran into my room asking me if I was okay to which I only hugged him and he told me everything was gonna be alright. It has been 10 years ever since that night occurred. I was a daddy's girl and losing him was the biggest challenge for me and that to on my birthday. The worst part is that the fact that I could have saved him that night still haunts me. "Go get ready princess! you have school today" Mike excitedly said. Mike is 3 years older than me and goes to a college nearby he may be annoying but he's the best brother I could ever as for.

I got out of my bed and headed to the washroom cleaning myself and dressing up in a crop top that says Wild and black skinny jeans and left my chocolate brown hair open. I don't wear make-up but I like to apply some bb cream and eyeliner cause it makes my grey eyes look brighter. Sometimes I wonder if I was named after my eye colour. A loud horn brought me out of my thoughts. I looked outside my window and saw Tyler and Vicky also known as Victoria waiting outside in a mini.

I headed downstairs, said goodbye to mike and kissed him on the cheek. "well that took forever!" Tori groaned. "Sorry Victoria, my love" I winked at her while she cringed at the full use of her name. I have no clue why but she hates it when someone calls her by her full name. Tyler gave me a flying kiss to which I returned one back and entered the car.

We all got out schedule and met up at my locker. "Senior year! omg I'm so excited for prom!" tori skipped as she reached with a huge smile on her face. Tori was always the girly girl who loves to dress up is good in studies and has a boyfriend she totally loves. "The year just began.. chill woman!" I laughed as tyler approached us with a "omg I'm going out tonight" look. "Babes guess what... I'm in the same class as this really hot guy called Jace Winston. Omg he's a total charmer but sadly he's straight" I love tyler cause he's not only super cute, he's also super gay. Although my bffs always tried to pair me up with some guy or the other I would never exchange them for the world.

I was that girl that never dated not because I didn't get any offers but cause I don't understand what this love thing is. To me its pretty stupid and something I would never do. I came to school for my friends and cause I love studying. I'm not a nerd, far from it but I just want to accomplish something in life which is being a successful writer. The bell rang and brought me out of my thoughts. I bid tori a goodbye and promised to meet up at lunch. I walked with tyler to my first class literature which I was totally excited about.
