The sun rises,
The birds chrup loudly,
The day is bright and happy,
Yet, here I lay on my bed,
So sullen and blue.
Watching two hurt me,
I quietly listen to the words that will now forever haunt me.
O day, why mock me?
So bright and sunny you are.
A paradox some might agree,
Yet, here I lay so sullen and blue.
Why do you fill the day with laughter cheerfulness and brightness?
When I bathe in a pool of tears.
Forming an ocean that is slowly consuming me,
Slowly covering me.
I'm drowning in despire,
Unable to break for shore,
Able to breathe, no more.
I hear loud noises fill the air,
I hear my cries of agony.
Do you not hear me?
Does no one hear my cry and plea?
As I look for a way to escape,
To evade, me drowning.
I pump my legs but the current to strong.
My eyes burn,
I choke,
I cry out in pure pain,
But they fall unto the deaf ear.
And alas,
I'm here, it's just me.
I let the current wash over.
The waters kill me,
And I this time whole heartedly accept it.
Why should I stop it?
For there is no need,
Let it consume me!
Let it kill me!
