8 years later
I sit on the bed and watch my husband sleep,
He looks so innocent,
So angelic.
It has been 8 years since I've met kyle by the lake,
8 years since a smile has never left my face
I love him,
He loves me,
And together our love was shone through our children,
Michael and samantha dudley
One of the best moments in my life
With them,
There is nothing more I could ask for.
They give me a reason to laugh in a moment,
They give me a reason to cry,
To show sadness and when I'm proud
They make my life whole.
"sweet, why are you up so early?" my husband huskily asks
'just thinking' I reply
"what about" he enquires
"about how lucky I am" I tell him honestly
In the beginning I thought my life had taken a turn for the worse but when I look back on that memory now, it had grown to be one of my favourites. I wouldn't change that I was hurt and went into depression. I wouldn't stop all the tears that were shed I wouldn't change anything because it was in that dull grey moment when I became happy and eventually had my bright and sunny day. I found love. I made a family and I am enjoying every little thing in life. So this is a love story of how kyle dudley saved me. This is the story of how Katie and Kyle came to be. Ladies and gentlemen I'm proud to acknowledge that this is my love story.
