Chapter 1

'Tap tap tap'

I was tapping my pen on the counter waiting for someone to stumble by this deserted Starbucks.

"Where is everyone?!?!" Jake yelled. Jake was my co-worker. He was used to working earlier in the day and now that it was spring break , he was working later.  

"I mean like, why doesn't anyone drink coffee at...10:21pm!" I laughed at him. Yay! I mentally clapped. I have 9 minutes till my shift is over. I make myself a 'Mocha cookie crumble' and I sat down at a table and waited for 10:30. As soon as my alarm went off I jumped up and grabbed my purse. I said goodbye to Jake and started to walk home and I put in my headphone. My house wasn't that far but I was really tired from the day and it was a new moon tonight making it darker that normal. I could cut through an alley cutting my walking time in half or I could walk all the way around the neighborhood. It was dark and anything could happen. You know what fuck it. I turned into the alley and immediately regretted it. I saw 5 figures standing at the end of the alley. One of them had a girl pinned against a wall. I kept walking to them.

"HELP!" The woman yelled

"No one can hear you sweetheart" the man growled. "This isn't going to hurt that much. Ok?" He said. I kept going to them and hid behind a dumpster. The alley had a few street lights so it wasn't that dark. I saw his eyes turn black and two fangs popped out if his gums. He jerked her head to the side and bit her. She started moaning. What Tha hail?! Why is she moaning I'm sure that shouldn't feel good. Anyway I didn't want to find out. The guy pulled away and she fell to the ground. I stood up and ran away hoping they don't notice.

"Fuck. Get her"The guy growled. I heard footsteps coming to me very fast. I run and trip. Of course this is fucking happening. I see 5 tall figures standing above me.

"Zayn grab her" he pulled me up and held his arm around my waist he covered up my mouth with his hand.

"We can't kill her" one said. They nodded

"You don't know what we are. You won't remember the last 5 minutes. We are just some nice people you just met" the murderer said. Zayn let go of me and walked in front of me.

"HELP!!!" I screamed and turned to run but they grabbed me again.

"What the hell why did you scream?" Zayn said.

"Really your asking me that?!?! You fucking murder that fucking woman and you asking me why I'm trying to get away!"

"You remember that?"he asked confused

"Of course I remember that is happened a couple seconds ago."

"Why didn't it work?" The one holding me asked. They shrugged.

"Let me try again. Hey. You. Look into my eyes." They turned a weird shade of red that was almost purple. "You won't remember anything that you just saw. You don't know what we are. We are just some guys that you met". The boy didn't let go of me this time.

"What the fuck? Are you crazy. I think that just scared me for life. Your a fucking vampire. Please don't bite me."i whined. what the fuck is going on.

"The compulsion isn't working." What Tha fuck is compulsion! "Let's just take her with us" he said throwing me over his shoulder.

"No!! Don't hurt me! HELP!!!!"I squirmed and started banging in the boys back.

"Damn girl. You're like really strong."he says. I keep squirming and hitting him as they take me out if the alley.

"Liam! Make her staph!" He said. Liam walked over to me and touched my arms and I felt relaxed. What kind of witch craft is this?!
