Chapter 4

Louis POV

I was sitting on the sofa cuddling with Faith. I'm really starting to like her. Im going to ask her out and she can't say no. There's this place past the forest behind our house. Ill take her there and then ask her.

"Faith lets go for a walk" we walked out the back glass doors. "Hop on my back."

"No!" She backed away.

"Come on its far away so ill just run us there." Soon she finally stopped arguing and jumped on my back. I made sure she was holding on and we took of. Within seconds we were at a sparkling blue lake.

"It's so beautiful"she stared at it in awe.

"Not as beautiful as you." She blushed. I know it's cheesy but it works. She kissed me on the cheek then turned around and ran around. I touched the spot her lips touched my skin.

"Do you wanna go out with me?" I called out. She turned around.

"What?"

"Um...do yo- well you don't have to. So um...do you want to go out with me. Like on a date. Alone. Together" she laughed. "That's not the reaction I was hoping for."

"No that's not why I'm laughing. I'm laughing because you are so cute when your nervous. Yes of course ill go on a date with you. When?"

"Oh...when? Well I've been kinda nervous about asking you so as soon as I find out where I'm taking you then ill tell you."she chuckled. We ran around and his behind trees and jumped In the lake until she had to go to work. She got on my back and I ran back to the house she went upstairs and changed. I drove her to work and got a coffee then went back home and watched T.V.

Faith's POV

I got on Louis's back and we ran back home. I went upstairs and changed out of my wet clothes and into my uniform. I pinned on my name tag and my phone rang. I'm already almost late. I picked it up without looking at the caller ID

"Hello?"

"Hi faith." His voice rang in my ear.

"What do you want zach?!"

"Ok I talk you listen. I told you to leave them. They are pretty much like a small gang they go around killing anything. They have been running away from me because I've been helping the council find them which is pretty much the police for vampires except there is no prison you're just killed. I told you to leave them and now you're going on a date with one of them. What the hell. You need to learn to listen to me." The line went dead. What the hell. I don't feel like this right now. I'm deal with this after work. I got in the car and he drove me to work. I made him a coffee and he went home. Another day of making coffee.

"You need to get a boyfriend jake!" I yell at him. He has been mad at every couple

"Well what about you. You need a guy."he said handing a customer their drink.

"I'm not staring at every couple that comes in and for your information I have a date with Louis the boy dropped me off" I said proudly.

"Ohh. That boy was cute!" Jake says

"Hey back off he's mine and he doesn't swing that way." He laughed. I went to the back room and looked at my phone. 1 hour 23 minutes till closing. I put away my phone and walked back out. My eyes are itching so bad. I went back to my purse and put in eye drops. Wow that did nothing. I decided to deal with it and I went back out and took customers order and people with the weirdest combinations. My eyes wouldn't stop itching for like an hour then it suddenly stopped.

"Hello my name is faith what can I get for you today?" I said with my legendary fake Starbucks smile. She was searching through her purse.

"Can I get. Oh My god! Miss are you ok?"she looked up from her purse and fear flashed in her eyes.

"Um yes is there something wrong?"

"Your eyes they just turned red!"she frantically gave me money and told what she wanted and ran to a table.

"Jake!"

"What?"

"Please take care of this order."

"Why?" I turned around and looked at him.

"Oh. Why the fuck are your eyes red?"

"I don't know why! So please!" I handed him a cup and I ran In the restroom and dialed Louis's number.

"Hello?"Harry's voice went Into my ear.

"Oh my god! My eyes are fucking red!"

"Ok. Put in some eye drops or something."

"No Harry that's not what I meant. Ill send you a picture!"

"OH! Know I see. That isn't supposed to happen until like two weeks before your birthday."

"My birthday is less than 2 weeks away you dumbass! Now what do I do! A customer just ran away from me."

"I don't know. Your shift ends in 30 minutes so just tell them it's contacts or something. Ill be there soon just because I want a coffee" I could here him smirking.

"You ass. Why do you have Louis's phone?"

"He's out...hunting."

"Kk bye" I ended the call and went back to work. Everyone asked about my eyes. Harry and louis came in and ordered the most annoying and complicated coffee he could think of so I had to make it. When my shift ended I gave jake a hug goodbye and Harry drove home.

"Who was that dude you were working with?" Louis asked.

"Why? Are you jealous?" I smirked

"No I just want to know."

"He's jealous." Harry says

"No I'm not!"

"Oh well Jake is really nice and sweet and I've known him for a long time"Harry started laughing and I saw louis tenses up.

"And gay. Not that you would care since you're not jealous. I should be jealous since he told me he thinks you're cute" Harry laughed even harder. We get inside the house and Harry throws his keys on a table next to the door.

"FAMILY MEETING!!!" Harry yells walking to the kitchen table. "You to faith you're family too now." I say next to him and waited for the rest of the boys.

"What?!" Niall says sitting down. "I was asleep!"

"Well too fucking bad!" Niall sticks his tongue out at him "today Faith called me and told me her eyes turned red. She also told me that her birthday is less than 2 weeks away"

"Yea it's next Saturday."

"How many days is that?"I got out my phone opened my calendar and counted the days.

"12"

"Oh well I guess you're closer than we thought."

"Is that bad?"why does this even matter!

"No. We just didn't know when your birthday was" Liam says. I nod.

"Ok well we now know 12 days until your transformation! And now we can all go to sleep!" We all stand up and go to our rooms.
