{ Ch 3 }

ITS FINALLY MY 18TH BIRTHDAY 🎁🎉

I wake up on the right side wanting this to be the best day ever . I mean who wouldnt ?!?!?

I pick out a mint green skater skirt with a white lace crop top and some converse. I curl my hair and for once put a little make up on wanting to look the best!

I go down stairs to expect a note from my dad but surprisingly there is none. I looked around to see if he put it in a different spot but he didn't .

I was about to give my dog food when my dad came down a gave me the biggest hug ever. " happy birthday princess  " " aww thanks dad but I'm not a little girl any more I'm 18 finally so that's means I'm an adult!!" I told him. " I know I know but you will always be a little girl in my eyes "  he almost tested up " dad please don't cry if you cry then I will cry and I don't want to ruin my make up okay?" I said " yeah yeah but tonight when you go out with your friends I want you to stay safe that means if you drink because I know you will you call me I don't care if it's 2 in the morning you better call me, got it?" He questioned " got it " I said while leaving to go to school.

I got to school and got welcomed with balloons from Emily and Cassidy!!🎈🎈 

" aww thank you guys so much you didn't need to do that !" I sorta yelled " we know but why wouldn't we for our best friend??" Cassidy said "truuuuuu" 

We walked up to school and a couple people said happy birthday to me as I walked by but what really caught my attention was Matt. 

" Ava what ever you do don't look at Matt " Emily said " wait why?" I wondered I didn't listen to her and stared at him any way and just to make my day he was walking my way..... holding hands with the new girl Carley. I felt like I was going to cry right on the spot. 

" I told you not to look and of course you looked" Emily said. " it's fine I would have found out anyways" I said on verge of tears. " forget about him we are going to have the time of our life tonight" Cassidy said trying to cheer me up. " of course we will" I said and walked right past the new couple and smiled right at them.
