{ Ch 12 }

Ava pov

I woke up to yelling downstairs but only heard one male voice as though he was yelling at himself. That when I realized that it was my dad yelling. I personally have never heard him yell it it's kinda scary. I slowly walk downstairs to find my dad pacing around talking on the phone.

Dad: you haven't seen in the last 10 years of her life and now all of a sudden you want to show up what the fuck Athena 

I then realized he was talking  to my mom and I was about to punch a wall from all the built up anger I have for her

Dad: well she is here now so why don't you tell her yourself

He shoved me the phone and looked as though he was going to explode 

Me: what do you want

Mom: omg sweetie I haven't heard from you in so long and your talking to me like this

Me: what do you expect me to say that I miss so much and I want  you back in my life well I'm sorry but I don't do you know how much stress you put on my dad how much pain you brought to this family

Mom: you cold hearted bitch didn't your father teach you any manners on how to speak to there own mother

Me: yes he did he also taught me to back my family up when needed and that's exactly what I'm doing right now 

Mom: I am family what are you talking about

Me: you call your self family you cheated on my dad with someone on the streets and then got lost in drugs then left your own daughter you expect me to forget everything you did and act like you were there when I needed you but you weren't my father was 

Mom: Ava how dare you I'm your mother and I deserve to be loved like one . Don't you love me

Ava: to tell you the truth I only love you because you gave birth to me other than that why would I 

And I hung up 

Dad: Ava I'm proud of you 

Me: thanks 

Da: you know what skip school lets have a bonding day

Me: you don't have to do that you know

Dad: I know but I also know how much you like go karting

Me: you are going to go go karting

Dad: yeah why not

Me: your old 

I laughed and ran upstairs to get dressed and went go karting
