Gotta Be You

Chapter 6

Jackie's POV

Its 5 A.M. and I want to go see Jacee. I'm glad I get to see her today but, it won't be until about 7 A.M. because that's when the doctors said we could see her. I couldn't sleep last night. I had a nightmare that woke me up and I started thinking then I started crying and I couldn't get back to sleep. My nightmare was about me losing Jacee then I started thinking how would I live with out Jacee.?

I've been awake since about 1 o'clock this morning and haven't went back to sleep. About 6 o'clock I decide to get up and get ready to see Jacee. I get up and jump in the shower. When I get out I put on a Texas Longhorn tee shirt and a pair of jeans. I start crying again because the Longhorns are Jacee's favorite collage football team and this shirt reminds me of her. I sit on the couch and watch TV and wait for the others to wake up so we can go see Jacee.

Dani's POV

I wake up and jump in the shower. When I get out I put on a pair of jean shorts and a pink and white shirt with a hot pink heart in the middle of it. I walk in the kitchen and make some pancakes, bacon, and eggs for everyone (the hotel filled our mini fridge with good food). I make my plate and eat then I go and brush my teeth. I'm just gonna go without makeup today. I walk into Haley and Kaylee's room and I wake them up. I help Haley up and Kaylee says "Hey Dani I'll help her, u should check on Jackie." I walk into Jackie's bedroom and she isn't in there so I walk to the living room to see if she is on the couch and she is sitting on the couch and says to me between cries " can we.....go see.....Jacee.....now.? I look at the time and its 7:30 and I reply "when Kaylee and Haley are ready we will go, have u eaten anything.?" Jackie says "no, I can't eat I'm to upset...." I tell her we won't go until she eats and she argues with me but after a few minutes she finally goes and eats. When we are all ready we catch a cab and go to the hospital.
