Gotta Be You

Chapter 8

Jackie's POV

"I have some good news and some bad news" Doctor Hamlock says. Jacee looks up at me and she looks frightened. I mouth to her,"it will be ok". She mouths back "ok" and she half smiles and I half smile back.

"The good news is.....Jacee you can go home today" Doctor Hamlock says. We all say,"yay.!!" at the same time. "The bad news is.....you don't need to be moving around a lot for about a week so you can fully recover, so that means no jumping around dancing with One Direction, no walking for a long distance,etc." Doctor Hamlock says. "Ok, I'll make sure she follows your orders." I say "Ok I'll come back in a few minutes and help Jacee to the car." "Ok" Jacee says and Doctor Hamlock leaves the room.

five minutes later

Jackies POV

Doctor Hamlock comes back in the room and she has a wheelchair. "I don't think I need that, I think I can walk." Jacee stands up and almost falls but I catch her and I set her on the bed and I sit next to her. "Jacee, your legs are weak, you need to regain your energy so you can walk without falling." Doctor Hamlock says. Doctor Hamlock walks over and her and I help Jacee up and walk her to the wheelchair. Doctor Hamlock pushes the wheelchair to the elevator and then to the limo that is here to pick us up, the walk is quite. When we get to the limo the doctor and I help Jacee in the car everyone gets in except for me (and the doctor of course). "Thank you doctor for taking care of Jacee" I say. "No problem, make sure she doesn't do a lot on her feet and she gets energized by drinking Gatorade and eats healthy and things like that and she will be good as new in about a week" the doctor says. "Ok I will" I say and I get in the limo and sit next to Jacee. The hotel is about an hour from here. After about 15 minutes of being in the limo Jacee lays her head on my shoulder and falls asleep....I don't know what I would do without her...she is the bestest..bestest.?...is that a word.? anywho she is the bestest friend anyone could ask for. Darn.! Jacee and I's favorite song (Marry You by Bruno Mars)is playing and she is missing it....oh well she is resting which will help her get better.!!
