"When are you coming?" I spoke in the receiver of my cell phone to Agler.

My parents had left to go visit my aunt in New York for the weekend and Agler was suppose to be over my house about an hour ago to watch my baby brother for me.

"I'm on my way to your house as we speak." He answered me in an annoyed voice.

"You better be, you made a promised so I hope you intend to keep it."

"I am, just hold on for a second."

I rolled my eyes in annoyance, "Ok, just hurry up. I'm already late to meet Troy."

"I promise you Troy will be there waiting for you like the good lap dog he is."

"Shut up." I said before hanging up and making my way to the kitchen.

"So what's for lunch?" Jack asked me as soon as I entered.

"I don't know. What do you want?"

There use to be a time when I was jealous of Jack. Our parents had been trying to get pregnant for years and when they realized their chances were slim they adopted me, but eight years later they finally had Jack. I use to despise him all because he was their biological son. I use to go to bed scared that they would wake up the next morning and send me back to an orphanage. My mom finally sat me down and talked about it and I got over it but the memory still made me feel bad about how much I use to loathe Jack and how I use to wish ill on him.

"Can we order pizza?"

"You want pizza for lunch? What about dinner?"

"What about dinner?" Jack asked in confusion.

"Wouldn't you rather have pizza for dinner and maybe a sandwich for lunch?" I asked Jack a little confused with his logic.

"Nah, I think I want pizza now and maybe a sandwich for dinner."

"If you say so. Hey Jack you know I won't be here for dinner or breakfast tomorrow. You promise you won't tell mom and dad."

"My lips are sealed, but what's in it for me?"

"I know you've been wanting to see that scary movie Zombie invasion 3, I'll take you if you want."

"Oh heck yes, it will be my second rate R movie this year."

"I know." I said smiling at Jack, I loved how innocent he was but how bad he tried to be. "So it's a deal."

"Of course." Jack said as soon as the doorbell rang.

"And that must be Agler."

"Agler! Sweet, he's watching me this weekend?"

"Duh, I'd only get the best for you."

"Awesome." Jack said getting up from his seat and following me to the door.

I opened the door and let Agler in, "Took you long enough."

"Hey, I'm here ain't I."

I rolled my eyes, "Alright I'm leaving."

I grabbed my bags that were by the front door and took the car keys to my moms Volvo s60. "Call me if there is an emergency, but think long and hard about whether or not it requires me." I said before stepping out the house.

"OK, so call you every five minutes." Agler said only to agitate me.

"Bye Jack!" I called out to my baby brother ignoring Agler and his stupidity.

"Bye, can't wait for the movies!" Jack called out making me smile.

I started the car and headed to Troy's house. I was a little jittery knowing that this was the first time we'd have a whole weekend alone to ourselves. I made the usual route to his house in the usual time and got out the car with my bag in hand.
