Emerald's P.O.V

I rushed out into the hallway after telling my teacher I had to go to the bathroom and headed towards Dayleah's classroom. As I got there, I grabbed the green powder out of my bag and held it up to the window in the door of her classroom.

"Five minutes." I mouthed to her and pointed behind me.

She gave me a discreet thumbs up and I headed over to Carter's classroom.

I held the same bag up to the window in the door and mouthed three minutes.

I walked over to the maintenance closet which I conveniently taped the door for it to be unlocked and waited for my friends.

"Ok I'm here but make it quick I have to go to the morning show in five minutes." Carter said in a rush with her hair flying everywhere.

"Yeah yeah tell Day to hurry up so you can get to your precious show about the social food chain called high school." I sneered.

"I'm here! Sorry that extremely hot guy who sits behind me in AP Chem just asked for my phone number." she said barging in through the door with a dazed look.

"Anyways," I said grabbing both of their attention, "so here's the powder, and there's the sprinkler system." I said pointing to the box in the corner of the room.

"So what I'm hearing is that we're making the water green and it's 'gonna spray all over the people who eat lunch in the yard?"

"Ding! Ding! Ding! you really know how to put two and two together Day!" I said opening up the plastic bag full of powder.

As I was pouring in the powder Carter looked at Day uneasy, "I don't get why your doing this were 'gonna get in trouble."

"No one will know it was us Carter, rest easy sister I got your back." I said pounding my chest then making a peace sign.

When I was almost finished setting up the timer for the sprinklers the bell rang and Carter and Day left to do their high school things.

The sprinklers are ready to attack.

Ashton's P.O.V

"Action!"

"Next week marks the 100th anniversery of the opening of Parkwood High! In honor of all the hard work that was put into building this school, we are having a school centennial dance! We hope to see you there to support your school and to have a good time! Now back to Lynette and Ryan with today's announcements."

"Cut!"

I got out of my chair and grabbed my backpack, "How was that? Did I stutter? Do you think Savannah will see it?" I asked Michael right when I saw him.

"Dude chill one question at a time." he said calming me down.

"I'm sorry man I just have to make an impact you know! After that guy fell on her during the football game I have to step up my game!" I said emphasizing my words with hand gestures.

"I 'gotta go to home room man, see you."

"Later" I said waving and heading to my own home room.

"So tell us the calculations for how much money we have to spend on the band." Lynette said looking at me.

I typed a few numbers in my calculator, "2,567 dollars." I said looking up.

"Good! We need to spend as much money as we can getting some quality music." Ryan said.

"Yea but that's so much money we could spend it on things like-" Michael started to say before water started spraying everywhere.

I grabbed my binder and held it to my chest as I looked around and saw green water spraying everywhere.

You could hear girls screaming about their clothes getting stained green. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Ryan fall face into the sprinkler getting green dye all over his shirt.

"This was a new shirt!" he yelled. I was laughing so hard while everyone was screaming. Whoever did this was genius.

Emerald's P.O.V

"Look at them running around, like goats." I said staring below as everyone got soaked by green dyed water.

"Goats?" Carter said.

"Baaaah." I said before grabbing my my backpack and heading back down to the stairwell off of the roof.

"You girls." Principal Gregory said eyeing Carter, Day, and I down.

"Us girls." I said looking between us.

"Sprinklers." He said continuing to give us the stink eye.

"Us girls," Carter said.

"Sprinklers." Day added.

"Suspension for all of you." Mr. Gregory concluded.

"I'm so dead." I heard Day sigh.

"Wait hold on Charles, why suspension. Just give us some detentions and it'll be over and done with!" I said, not about to have a suspension on my permanent record.

"Yeah Mr. Gregory give us a break." Carter added with her puppy dog eyes.

"You girls. Sprinklers. Two weeks detention." He concluded.

"Yes." I said as we walked out of his office. "We pretty much didn't get on any trouble! See it was all good!" I said directly to Carter.

"Yeah yeah shut up, see you later." Carter said before grabbing Day and leaving.

I walked away to the parking lot to get my car and started going home not caring that I was skipping out of the rest of the day.
