Jessica's POV

Faith and I went shopping on Friday for my dress. After 2 hours of searching, we finally found a lovely gown that fit me perfectly. It was a royal blue gown that reached my ankles with a sliver sparkly belt and matching silver heels and blue purse.

And I got it for a steal at Macy's with 40% off. Exciting right?!

It was Saturday and I had to get ready for the dinner. I took a nice cold shower and moisturized my skin.

Then curled my hair and did my makeup, smokey eyes with nude lips. I then curled my hair and brushed it out.

By the time I was done, I couldn't even recognize myself, the dress hugged my curves perfectly and the smokey eye makeup made my eyes pop.

I look so pretty, pretty enough to make Brent know what he's missing.

I looked so good, I had to take a full length mirror selfie and post it on Instagram.

I really wanted to look nice for Brent. I know, stupid right?

I just wanted to show him I was doing fine without him.

Which was a big lie because in fact I miss having a boyfriend.
I miss having pointless conversations at 2am in the morning.
I miss going on dates and making out out till my lipstick smudges.
I miss him.

I grabbed my purse and phone and went downstairs to see mom wearing a red ball gown that had an open slit that reached her knee (apparently for modesty sake) and diamond earrings while my dad and brother both rocked a tux with black bow tie. I can't lie, this is the first time Maison didn't look.. Bleh.

"You look beautiful honey" my mom said in total awe of me, "Absolutely gorgeous" said my dad right after.

"I bet it's just to make Brent jealous and come crawling back to you" Maison said "Well it won't work"

We'll see about that...

My dad locked the house up and we all got into my dad's Ferrari and off we went.

I won't lie, I was a bit nervous to see Brent. I hope he's miserable without me, that would just make my entire night.

Don't let's some irrelevant guy change your mood, you look gorgeous no matter what anyone thinks. The voice in my head reassured me.

The STONEs lived in a lovely home.. Make that mansion.

I'd explain how it looks but just picture Kourtney Kardashian's house.

We all got down from the car while my dad handed the keys to the valet.

We went through the back of the house to the backyard that had been decorated and everything was absolutely breathtaking from the classic music band playing to the decor to the star filled sky, just perfect.

Brent's parents sure know how to plan a formal dinner.

And right then, I saw him. He was in the midst of people who looked like our age mates laughing with his head thrown back and his left hand on his stomach. He stood at 6 feet with dirty blonde hair, milk chocolate eyes (that are so mesmerizing, you just get lost in them), perfect pearly white teeth, and chiseled chin.
