"Cherry you'll like it here, it's just like your old school!" Abby explains as we both walk down the crowded hallway. "It's not the same. It was way different at Calus High." I pout glaring around the place.

"We'll talk about it passing period. At least pretend to be happy? See you later." Abby replies disappearing into the crowd of boys and girls.

At my old school, I was popular and constantly talked to. Now, I'm at the bottom of the list.. Not knowing a single soul except for Abby, this will be an interesting year.

*rriinngg* the school bell hollered making me rush to my first class. I walk in with all perv eyes staring me down. "Take a seat." The teacher says writing his name on the chalkboard.

I put my bag close to my leg sitting in the very back of the class which had two seats left. "Great.." I mutter swirling my finger through my red curls.

"Hello students, I'm Mr.Tomble. What a perfect day to do a test on your reading skill levels? I know, why take a test the first day?" He informs handing everyone a piece of binder paper.

All of a sudden, a boy barged in putting his shades in his back pocket. "Well, if it isn't Dallas Winston." Mr.Tomble said with a stern look on his face.

"Sup Michael, I hope I didn't disrupt anythin." The boy said sarcastically spotting the only seat left, which is next to me.

"I'm Mr.Tomble, Dallas." He growled softly handing him a paper. "Well, I like calling you by your first name." Dallas declared then looking to his right where I'm seated.

"Sup beautiful." He added checking me out in the most obvious way. I rolled my eyes knowing what kinda boy he is. He's a bad boy. One that doesn't give two shits about the law, or anything else really.

Lunch time came around quick thank god. I stumbled around aimlessly looking for Abby. "Cherry!" She shouted from a table not so far away.

I sat beside her quick taking out my water. "So, how was the first half of the day?" Abby questioned eating some pudding. "It was alright. I met lots of nice people.. Well, except for one." I replied purposely sipping out of my beverage.

She put her spoon down and continued to talk. "Who? Tell me." "Well, this boy named Dallas. He's in my English and PE class." I grunted with a loud sigh escaping my lips.

"You mean Dallas Winston?! My god! He's a popular guy here!" Abby exclaimed playfully slapping my arm. "Really? Wow, he sure acts like he runs the place tho." I muttered looking down at my shoes.

"Yes, and he's really cute. Every girl has a crush on him. He talks to you?" She asks with her eyebrows raised. "He only talked to me once. Just said how I was that's all."

"He's a catch, he never talks to chicks here. He might got somethin flying in his stomach for you!" Abby cheered throwing her pudding in the near by garbage can.

"Listen, this whole day was just too overwhelming, what do you say we go to the Drive-ins tonight?" Abby added as the bell began to ring. "Sure. Pick me up at 7 ok?" I ask giving her a quick hug heading to 5th period.
