As I was on my way to Mottie's house, I thought over everything that's happened. Walking alone in the frosty air was like a breath of fresh air. I felt like I was a whole new person even though I was still the same old miserable teenager thats been stuck in an endless loop of life. I rang Mottie's door bell and she opened it right away with a warm smile that made me feel at peace. She had already gotten the house ready for me to crash at. We talked about random stuff thats been happening and soon we got to the topic of me running away. The more I talked about it, the more I felt like it was the worst decision I've made. I told Mottie that I changed my mind and she understood. She gave me a hug and said, " I knew you would come around Sophia" I left her house and headed home.
By now, It's around 3am and I'm exhausted. All of a sudden, I realised that a dark figure has been following me all the way home. I started to speed up and the silhouette did the same. If I crossed the street so would he. I stopped and he stopped. I turned around and as soon as I did that, I realised that I had just made the biggest mistake of my life. As soon as I did so, the tall figure lunged at me. I struggled as hard as I could but it was no use. I started to get faint and soon everything went black.
