I don't know why but the teacher had an emergency to attend to. We had to share a book since Jake magically couldn't find his five minutes into the class. He had been on a page forever. It was kind of annoying.

"For the love of God turn the page you are like the slowest reader ever" I said quite taken aback.

"So I guess you've found your voice" he said with a dangerously sexy smirk. I didn't say anything just took my book away from him.

"Give me back that book" he said in a serious tone.my body shook as I handed it back to him. He smiled and brought out his phone. I gave a gasp. It's prohibited to use a phone in class. He gave me a knowing look as he quickly typed something on his phone and inserted his phone in his pocket. He threw my book on the floor and comfortably kept his legs on the table. I don't know about you but no one throws my book on the floor.

"Pick that up" said in a commanding voice I never knew I had. The whole class stopped what they were doing to look at the scene behind them.

"Make me" he said quite daring as he looked at his phone. I snatched his phone away from him holding it between his two fingers far away from him.

"If you don't pick my book, forget about having this phone back. I'm going pieces it and make sure I enjoy every single bit of it" I said narrowing my eyes.

He just smiled. A really annoying smile.

"Do it" he told me actually daring me.

I knew I couldn't. I am a coward was already shaking

"I know you can't" he said

"I can. If I want to" I said about to give him back his phone.

"Jessie Anderson!"I heard a voice boom across the room. I turned around to see the principal. Then I dropped the phone out of fear. I looked at Jake but he had a cool expression.

"I'm sorry" I told him picking up the phone not bothering to check for damage. I already had tears in my eyes. I am in trouble. Maybe I will be expelled or suspended.

"I am disappointed in you" the principal told me as I sat down in his office.

"But..."I said

"We lack substitute in this school. Your teacher leaves for an emergency and you are already causing havoc" he said

"I have a good reason" I said

"A good reason for causing havoc? I would have loved to let you go because off your good character and results but that would be unfair for other student so I would be sending you off to community service at the library for a week" he said.

I wanted to beg him but I knew best not to argue with the principal's walked out of his office.
