I walked into the library. The one place you will expect me to like but unfortunately no I don't. The librarian was happy to see me. The place needed serious cleaning.

"Another stubborn child. You are new" The librarian said. When I say she is far from weird believe me. She is creepy.

"Yes" I told her. Turns out that only the stubborn kids get in here. Way to go principal. I thought I was a good kid with an impressive result. The librarian handed me some cleaning equipment.

"I need a glove" I asked her.

"Oh! You are lucky. We've got only one" She said throwing one at me. I walked to a particular corner of the library. Something about this place made me like it. I loved it. It is a corner with a window seat. By the look of things you will see that this library was once a lovely one but with phones and all it is long forgotten. I began cleaning this corner. Maybe it will be my getaway. I left to go and check out some of the books on the shelf. They were kind of dusty. My eyes shone as I saw different novels. My long time favorites. I decide to leave the shelf to go complete my work. I stopped at my spot. I was surprised to see Jake lying down on he couch sleeping. What the hell. I went up to him and smacked him on the head as he fell down on my feet making me fall down into the bucket of dirty soapy water. The librarian decided to use that moment to check up on me. That was enough to make her send us out of the library.

"What's wrong with you?" Jake asked me.

"Well, I wasn't the one sleeping" I told him.

"What is your business if I was sleeping?" He asked me removing one strand of hair from my face.

"I was cleaning there" I told him removing his hand gently from my face. I felt disgusted with myself. Now I am going to spend hours washing my hair.

"That was pretty funny" He said cracking up.

"What?" I asked him curiously laughing along with him.

"The whole falling down thing" He said as I quickly stopped laughing.

"If you were in my novel, I would have killed you off by now" I told him releasing the hair band that was holding my hair into a ponytail. At least the rain can do some work for me.

"You should let your hair down. It suits you much better" he said watching me intently.

"You should remove what is stuck up in your ass it will make you a better person" I said mentally praising my self.

"I gotta give you a high five. I am borrowing that comeback and I will tell everyone I tell that to that I learnt it from you" he said as he wiped his face.

"Don't forget to read for the English test too because there is no helping you" I said dryly.

"Why do you have to be hundred percent nerdy" he asked me quite sincerely

"If I weren't nerdy how do you expect me to achieve my goals" I said as we neared my house.

"Being boring? You are naturally a bore" He said cracking up. I really don't know what makes him to laugh.

"Really?" I asked him quite disappointed with him.

"No. That's for me to find out" He said making me to smile.

"Just so you know I am no bore mister" I told him stopping in front of my house.

"Who do you expect to believe that" He asked me

"I don't know you?" I told him

"Jess, I give you a day to prove that to me" He said stepping closer to me as my heart did that thing again.

"Don't try me bad boy. Anyone can be bad" I said too paralyzed to move as his mouth got closer to my face.

"You wanna be bad too huh? Good thing I only fall for badgirls"He whispered into my ears. I turned and walked towards the door with hope in my head. This year might be better. Hopefully it would be a good senior year for me.
