As i walked through the doors of my home, i was greeted by a solid slap across my cheek. I could feel the heat radiating off of it.
"Where were you? You were out with some girlfriends?! Is that what you are going to tell me? If so then you can never see them again." Explained my drunk father. The high odor of the alcohol plunged into my respiratory system. Immediately,I began to choke.he lunged at me but I dodged him.
"Get away from me!" I yelled.
"Just for that, you're gonna regret it...." He walked slowly towards me. Every step he took, i took a step backwards but he was too fast for me.
"Did i ever tell you that you were just like your mother? Ugh, she made a mistake leaving me." He said with disgust and i wanted to punch him so bad.
"The only difference is that i am not gonna let you leave me." He locked the doors and creeped up towards me.
That night, i felt as though the living dead would wake and try to pull me down to the underworld. I was going to make a run for it although i knew that he would not let me but that was my plan. As he stepped out, i was going to take my bags and go.
He got dressed and let himself out.
After fifteen minutes, i braced myself and tried opening the door. It was locked. I looked around. I needed to let go of him. I burst through a window and fell about four feet down.
It was a if dad knew i was breaking through because there he was, racing towards me. I ran like Usain Bolt, dodging people and letting his grasps leave me. He was hot on my heels but something was pushing him as if he knew something that i did not.
I ran into a street and looked down.No please no stop. Wake up Sierra!? This street was a dead end. Why could i not have picked the other one.i swiftly turned as the familiar voice of the man i have been dreading my entire life, had echoed off of the walls.
"Well I thought that last night would have taught you enough to make you understand that we'll, You're mine."
