"It was a stormy night tonight." The wind blew trees vigorously, bending them left and right. I was currently locked away in my room because of my recent actions. Being a normal high school girl was very difficult for me. My family moves around a lot, forcing me with them. Every time I get comfortable in a town, nee school with new classes, or even have a few friends of my own, we would move. On top of all that, I wasn't the most liked girl everyone wanted to befriend. Back to why I was held captive in my room. I have this tendency to escape this dungeon and retreat to the woods. Fortunately, every place we move has woods close by. Tonight was going to be the night I escaped this prison for good. Unfortunately, this demeaning weather put me a little behind schedule. An upside to this, was that the storm would act as my Cover of Darkness.
I reached under my bed and grabbed the black bag that I had placed. I had packed this bag many times before today. I would always grab my bag and sneak out of the house with hopes of never coming back. However, there was always something that held me here. It felt like an invisible force that dragged me back to this imprisonment. Tonight though, I made up my mind. Nothing was bring me back, not this time. I slung my bag on over my black hoodie and obtained my phone. There wasn't anyone I needed to call but just incase there was, I felt the need to carry it. I walked over to my window and unlatched the lock. Quietly opening it, I stepped up on the ledge. The rain from the storm poured into my room. I slide up against the outer wall of the house, kicking my window shut. After I saw my current condition, I realized there was no room for mistakes. One slip and it was a two story fall to a most likely fatal fall. Carefully, I inched around the walls, avoiding as many windows as possible. I soon finally reached my destination. There was a long rope which was attached to the roof down to the ground. The Repairmen left this after they repaired the shingles on the roof. I extended my arm to the rope, balancing on the slippery wall edge. Then, I slipped.........{Like the story? Leaving a comment and like will help my add more to this story}
