Then I slipped. As I started falling towards the Earth, the only thought running through my head was "all this for what? My so called New Freedom or just the ability to rebel?" As I fell, my arm caught the soaked rope. I remember the burning sensation that ran through my arm as the rope passed over my bare skin until I finally stopped. My body felt all hot from the blood pumping to my now burned arm and my whole body. As the rain ran down my arm, the sting started to set in. It was difficult to see in the darkness of the storm, but I imagined it wasn't just rain water running down my arm. I unwrapped the rope carefully, wrapping my feet around the now remaining swinging rope. Before my so called parents locked me up, I was doing Military courses at my school. I'm so glad I took them now. I carefully descended the rope till I reached the bottom. As soon as I did, I backed up against the house hiding in the darkness to tend to my wound. As soon as I stepped back, I heard the sound of horses. The next thing I heard scared me the most though. The house maid was outside the door. "Emily, Emily where are you?" I remain hidden till I thought she was gone. The sound of horses came from a horse drawn carriage which soon approached the house. In my mind, I needed to escape to the woods as fast as possible, otherwise I would be captured. I watched as the Maid approached the carriage. "It's wonderful you have arrived my Lord, but there's been a problem. Mistresses Emily has again departed from the house." She placed her hands on her face and began to cry. Why was the Maid being so formal? I asked myself this question as I tied a cloth against the burn. A young gentleman stepped out of the carriage wearing a white coat with black creatures across it. He had dark black hair and by the looks of it bright blue eyes. "Why did she escape? I was lead to believe that was wasn't going to be aware of me arriving. Don't worry whatever the case, I'll find her and explain everything." After he said that, I felt the need to run away. Like I needed to be as far away from this man as possible. A part inside of me was screaming for the woods, the peaceful, free woods. I couldn't stay any longer. I stood up and dashed to the woods through the pouring rain. Water slung from my now drenched body. Staying in the shadows, I managed to reach the wood line. "Come on Emily, there's nothing for you back there in that cell." I stood there a minute, feeling the urge to turn back and return. My thoughts were suddenly broken by the sounds of a horse neigh. Crap, someone was coming for me. I have to go now or else I will be discovered and returned to an unpleased household. I quickly dashed into the dark woods, running until I couldn't catch my breath. The sound of a horse galloping continued to approach me. I needed to hide, I have no chance of out running a horse. Quickly I looked around for a place to conceal myself. Through the heavy rain, the visibility was little to nothing. I found a fallen tree and dashed over towards it. My black muddy boots slide causing me to plummet to the soggy soaked ground. Mud instantly splashed on my face and my attire. Then, the horse came into view.......
