A Phone Call

Hey guys! I'm back. So being that my first chapter got over 30 reads, I decided to continue the story. I hope you enjoy. :)

My alarm went off, sending a shock down my spine. Quickly, I jolted towards my phone, turning off the ridiculously loud sound. I layed my head back down on my pillow. I thought about the events of last night. Jennifer. The conversation. The kiss... I could feel my cheeks blush just thinking about her. After a few minutes of gazing at my ceiling, I realized I had forgotten to turn off my alarm due to it being the first day of my holiday vacation. I smacked myself in the face and sighed.

I reached for my phone and went through my contacts. I needed something to make sure yesterday wasn't a dream. I scrolled through my contacts. Finally, a smile grew on my face when I saw the newly added contact. 'Jennifer<3'. This got me thinking about everything. Possibly too much. What if she gave me a fake number? Or even a fake name? What if she played me? I was self conscious like that.

A little later on, as I was brushing my teeth, my phone started vibrating in my pocket. I pulled it out to see an incoming call from Zack. I spit out the tooth paste and answered the phone.

"Hey." I answer

"Hey, are we still on for tonight?" He asked

"Uhhh..."

"You better not have forgotten. I swear, I will come to your house and smack the daylight out of you" he threatened.

"Well I'm sorry I was-"

"If you say writing at a café..."

"So where did you want to go?" I change the subject.

"The pub on my street corner." He said

"I'll be there at nine." I reply.

"Damn right, you'll be there." He says before hanging up

Zack was a childhood friend. Perhaps the only friend I still spoke to. He seemed like some rude guy to everyone else. But get to know him and you'll see that he does have something pumping blood through his veins.

A little later on during the day, I was sitting in my living room. I had my laptop on the armrest of my chair and I was going over what I had written. My last few paragraphs made no sense. The sentences made no sense and some words were just gibberish. I had no idea why until I thought back to yesterday.

"I was writing this when she walked in." I whispered to myself.

I was so astounded by her that my writing skills went down to kindergarten level when I saw her. Staring at my laptop, I smiled. I closed it down and took out my phone.

"...Hi! Is this Jennifer?"
