"I have a confession."

I laughed softly at the confused expressions of all the guests in the crowd. "Well, actually I have three," I smirked and smoothed down my messy hair.
"Confession one, I absolutely hate all of those of the higher class. You never help the poor, and always look down on them when they are in need, taking what satisfaction you can in beating them down even further."

A nasal voice from the audience interrupted me and I wrinkled my nose in disgust. "But we have worked hard all our lives to get our money, why should we waste it on those who choose not to work?" He yelled arrogantly. I narrowed my eyes at him and hissed

"do you think that they choose to not work? No, they have been denied that opportunity by people like you. They struggle every day to have enough to feed themselves, let alone their families. I know that more than anyone else because I have lived it. People like you disgust me."

"But-" he piped up but soon shut up as I glared at him.

"Confession two, my name is not Thalia, in fact. My name is Red." My heart pounded as the noise of the crowd rose and I risked a glance at Ciel and Sebastian only to see they were frowning up at me with disappointment. I called out to the people "see this is why I didn't tell you in the first place, people judge without evidence, all acting the same." I sighed deeply, and cleared my throat ~this is it, I can do this~

"And my third confession, well, I know who the assassin of Red is." The noise in the main hall rose to a level of uncomprehendable confusion, and Ciel and Sebastian looked at me with judging gazes. I glared at them.

"Yes that's right, I know who she is, and tonight she will die. But she will most likely kill me as well. She has given me a message to give to all of you before we both depart." My skin felt clammy and cold as the gazes of my two closest friends met mine.

"She says, I never wanted to hurt anyone, but I know I did. She wants to apologize for bringing such terror to everyone, and she hopes that you will forgive her. The people she targeted weren't innocent though, they had all committed a crime and she wanted to help. Only when she had been told to target innocent people and her two best friends then she realised. She was wrong."

"I was wrong."

I looked down at everyone, realisation dawning on the young Earls and his butler's faces. I smiled softly and pulled the last dagger off my necklace and my last sheet of red paper out of the corset of my Red dress. "And so!" I yelled out to the panicked nobles "without further ado." I slowly brought the dagger into the air as if to throw it. "THIS IS RED'S FINAL CHAPTER!" I plunged the silver blade into my stomach along with the red sheet of paper and grinned down at the now desperate crowd.

"It's funny huh? You probably didn't expect that. I know I wasn't. I think it's funny. I just want to say, I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused you. I hope you can forgive me. In Greek legend they say, there is a chance you can go to the afterlife and get elysium, which is paradise. But I don't believe that." I gasped, only now feeling the pain of the blade. "I-i think. I'm going to hell." I cracked a weak smile at the shocked faces of the crowd. Blood dripping from my lips and stomach I whispered a few more words "Ciel, I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you, but thank you so much for putting up with me. Elizabeth, I'm truly sorry that I was sent to kill you and Sebastian. Oh Sebastian Michaelis"

I smiled at him with glistening eyes as his crimson ones met mine. I breathed quietly. "I w-want these t-to be my l-last words." Ciel looked at me with sadness written across his face.

"S-sebastian? I think I love you." And with those words, I yanked my silver dagger out of my stomach and screamed in agony as blood began to flow. With bloody lips, I tilted my face to the heavens and smiled for the very last time as I fell off the bannister and plummeted to the cold hard marble floor.
