Chapter 21: Another farewell

I woke up at 7am, my flight's at 10am so I guess I better get ready I went downstairs and saw Mom still packing some of my things that I should bring, Dad cooking my favorite breakfast which is egg and bacon while Cody was taking a shower. I had my breakfast, my favorite food couldn't even help light up my mood because the fact that I'm leaving everyone I love behind especially Codster, after eating my food I headed straight to the shower. After 15 minutes I was done. I double checked all my things and inhaled deeply. Hello 5 hours and 40minutes flight to NY, Hello Dreams, Goodbye Cody.. and speaking of Cody he suddenly entered my room..

"you ready?" he asked

"yes, how about you.. are you ready?" I asked

"I don't know.." he said

"you know I won't do this if you don't want me to.." I said

"we talked about this last night, of course you're going. I won't let you miss a big oppurtunity like this. This is for your dreams okay? we can do this" he said and gave me a quick kiss but meaningful

"thanks babe.. I love you" I said and hugged him tight

"I love you too.." he said and hugged me tighter but he let go after 5 seconds "okay let's carry your luggages to the van you don't wanna miss your flight right?" He added and then patted my head

"Actually, I think I do" I thought to my self

I smiled weakly

He grabbed most of my bags and placed it on the mini-van

Dad drove me to the airport along with Mom and Cody..

none of my parents are going with me because they still have their jobs but I understand that, I just feel sad that I'm leaving everyone I love..

I had a text from Tom Vaughan

From: Tom V.

Your manager Connie will be at the airport in New York to pick you up once you landed, You'll have a day off so you can rest and we'll start shooting the next day. Everything will be just fine. Have a safe trip!

I don't know if I should be relieved at what Tom said, I am aware that I'm leaving for New York and Hello Dreams! but of course I would be sad..

We arrived at the airport at about 9:00am means I need to get inside fast!

I said my good byes to my mom and dad, Mom said she and Dad are starting to get better but they still decided that its best that they are apart from each other right now while they're still trying to figure out things. She and Dad both said they'll visit me sometime when they'd get a break from work. I hugged my mom and dad very tightly and my mom started sobbing and I started crying, My dad's not crying but I can see that he's about to.. after that they went to the car because Mom said she can't stand it watching me go and so me and Cody would have some privacy..

"soo..." he said softly

"we've been through this before right?" I said

"yep.."

"so this shouldn't be hard at all" I said

There was silence for a while..

I saw a tear run down from Cody's eyes..

"goodness Cody! you're making this so hard!" I said a bit joking then laughed sadly then cried

sorry emotionally unstable..

"I am going to miss you" He said then hugged me tight.

This is probably the tightest hug he has ever gave me..

"I love you" he whispered to my ear while we're still hugging

"I love you too" I said letting go of the hug, I gave him a smack on his lips it was quick but he knows its meaningful

"Good bye Cody, I love you but I have to go.. bye"
