Chapter 12

A/N: This chapter deals a lot with Benji and a few chapters after this will too. So if you haven't started reading Benji's story, you might want to start reading it. Otherwise some things in the future chapters won't make sense because I'll be starting to update the stories together after chapter 13 (: That' all!

Benji's POV

*~Dream~*

"You're just as worthless as your mother!" He screamed at me, tilting the bottle up to allow more of the harsh drink into his mouth. I glared at him.

"Take that back!!" My mother is the best damn person in the whole wide world! Don't you dare talk about her like that!!" He looked at me harshly with an evil glint in his eyes.

"You've got quite the mouth on you, let's see how well you can use it."

"Benji, please wake up baby. It's just a dream." My mother cooed at me softly. I yawned softly and stretched.

"I'm up mom." I told her, memories of yesterday filling my mind. Axel and Chase had started kissing, and even though it was kind of hot, I just couldn't watch the man I loved be kissed by his brother.

"Baby, I have some bad news." I was instantly alert at those words; every muscle in my body was ready for whatever they needed to be ready for.

"What is it?!?" I asked, worry overtaking me when she looked down at the bed instead of my face and held my hands.

"Kyle is in the hospital."

My breath hitched, my eyes filled with tears, and I uttered out a small,

"What?"

Chase's POV

"Master, I love you." I whispered, feeling secure and comforted in his warm arms. After he had confessed his love for me, I couldn't help but to follow him around like a puppy, always wanting his affection.

"Chase you're acting like a puppy instead of the kitten you are." Axel whispered, placing a kiss to my cheek. I blushed.

"Well I wa-" I was interrupted by the phone ringing.

"M-Master do you want me to get it?" The phone rang again.

"Yes, go ahead and answer it." I got up and ran to get the phone and just as whoever was calling was about to give up, I pressed talk.

"Hello?" I whispered, out of breath. As you could probably tell, I'm not the most fit person in the world..

"Chase, it's Kyle... He... He..." Benji choked on a sob and someone else grabbed the phone.

"Chase, sweetheart, come down to GreenWood Hospital. Kyle's not doing too well." His mother's voice whispered into the phone. I had to strain to listen to it, but there was no mistaking what she had said.

"Okay." I sounded, and I hung up the phone.

"M-Master." I said, my voice hollow and my chest heaving.

"What is it?"

"Kyle's in the hospital and I need to go see if he's okay." I told him, staring at him. But, as confident as I had been trying to be, I still shrank back against his intense gaze.

"Alright. Let's go."

"Will he be okay?" Benji whispered, sounding so heartbroken. He looked like someone had just shot his puppy in the face.

Kyle had been in a car accident. He was riding his bike and I drunk driver had come out of nowhere and hit him. Kyle's family was here along with Benji, Axel, Benji's mother, Jaymee, and I."

"He'll be fine." I whispered back, patting his back gently. Master had told me I could comfort my friend, and that was what I was going to do.

"B-But.. he's.. he's in the emergency ward and he's all messed up.." Benji told me.

"He'll be fine. I know he can live through anything that is dished out to him." Master spoke, looking at both of us. Benji stopped crying when he heard the deep baritone of my Master's voice, but just as soon as he stopped, he started crying again. I wrapped my arms around my heart broken friend.

"He'll be okay."

As soon as I spoke those words, a man dressed in a white, long lab coat stopped in front of us.

"We've been able to stabilize him, and as far as we're concerned you should be able to go and see him now." Benji's face lit up so quickly, and he tackled the doctor into a hug and nearly gave him a kiss.

"OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!" Benji screamed, kissing all over the doctor's face out of thankfulness.

"You're welcome." The doctor chuckled. "But my boyfriend works here too and I'd rather not let him see the teenager trying to eat my face off and get any wrong ideas." Benji gasped.

"HOE! I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I WON'T EAT ANYBODY'S FACE OFF UNLESS THEY ARE KYLE!" He yelled. He ran away from the doctor and into Kyle's room. The doctor stared at my Master and I with a 'Really?' look on his face and we couldn't help but chuckle.

Everyone knew that Benji was crazy.

"BABY!" Benji screamed at Kyle, grabbing his bandaged hand. "MARRY ME!!" Everyone in the room laughed when we all heard Kyle's weak reply:

"Shut up, Benji."
