2 years later

"Ani!" Padmé called out, her light voice ringing through the space of the Naboo villa.

"Yes, Angel?" Anakin replied, coming up the stairs to meet his wife and taking her head in his hands, kissing her softly.

Padmé smiled and adjusted Anakin's collar, looking into his icy blue eyes. "I was just going to ask you if you could watch the kids tonight. Obi-Wan and a few others are going to meet me tonight to talk about some terms with the --"

"Yeah, yeah, hush stuff about the Senate and whatever. I got it. I can watch them."

Padmé smiled and gave her husband a quick peck to the lips, running her fingers through his hair. "Thanks, Anakin." She strode off towards their bedroom to get ready.

Even though Anakin was a Jedi Master, there was no distinguished Council. Since almost every Jedi had died during Order 66 and the Jedi Temple had been destroyed, there was just Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda, along with several Jedi in training. There was a Padawan in need of a training, and Obi-Wan had recommended Anakin to take on the job as his Master. But Anakin wasn't ready for that. Still, he was getting over the loss of his former Padawan years ago, and he didn't wish to admit he was nervous of another betrayal.

The Jedi Temple had been rebuilt as a much smaller sanctuary, filled with monuments and memorials for all of the other Jedi that had lost their lives previous years. Yoda believed that in years to come, when he stepped down from his position and Grand Jedi Master and the Council grew, Anakin would be able to take on his position and lead the coming Jedi. As for now, he had a family to look after and be home for, so he refused. He told Yoda to ask him in a several years.

Padmé continued on with the last of her term of a Naboo Senator, and when that term ended, she told Anakin, she would step down and settle for a while so she could be home more often. She still had very important tasks to complete, but otherwise, she was enjoying her family of five, including she, here husband and her children. She worked in Naboo only now, specifically restricting her role to no-travel.

Anakin still had to receive therapy and meditation sessions at the Temple for his visions of the Sith. He was doing better, but the help definitely worked.

Luke and Leia were taken by Anakin everyday to the Temple for training. As for Layla, at two years of age she didn't understand much. She constantly was getting midi-chlorian tests run on her, but results would come back negative every time. It seemed she was not one with the Force like her siblings.

Obi-Wan had settled down with a beautiful retired representative from Corellia named Kylla.

The galaxy was at peace. It was restored, just like the Jedi had been wanting for years.
