I was standing on my balcony feeling sad from last night's party. I didn't know whether I should go to school or not. It was 7:30 A.M. and if I didn't get out my house within 5 minutes, I'd probably be late to school.
Then I saw Justin walk out of his house. I can't believe I never noticed him for a month straight. I just kept staring at him walking, but then he looked up and it was totally uncalled for. I was not expecting him to look up at my balcony at all. So my first reflex was to just hide. So I quickly turned around and got down to the floor. I hope he didn't see me.
"HEY! Juliet I see you, let down your hair so I can climb up!" Justin screamed.
Dammit, he saw me. I was to embarrassed to see him. But it would be more embarrassing to just stay here hiding. I got back up. I wanted to correct him on a few things. "First of all, that's the Rapunzel story. And second of all, my hair can't reach all the way down there!." I said.
"Okay whatever, you can be my Juliet or Rapunzel, or my Sneezing Beauty." He laughed.
"Shut up." I left. No way am I going to school. I went home and turned on the television. Then I heard my mom in the kitchen, and ran out the house. I forgot she was home, no way will she let me stay home.
I didn't see Justin when I walked out, I hope I don't run into him in the way.
I walked into school and the school clock read 8:05 A.M., 5 minutes late once again. Nick was standing against his locker looking at something on his phone. Even though he wasn't even trying to look good it was as if he was posing for a magazine cover. He looked up and I looked away before he could tell I was staring. It just sucked thinking that I'll never talk to him. Then I remembered the party incident that happened and thought it was probably a good idea we didn't talk. I wouldn't want people coming up to me and asking about my horrible first kiss. I looked back at him and he looked away back to his phone.
I came into class, and happiness came over me when I saw we had a substitute! I took out my journal and started writing down my thoughts. It always helped me get rid of what I was thinking onto paper.
The class was noisy like crazy, as always when there is a substitute who can't control us. Suddenly Justin walked in, he's so full of surprises. "Do you belong here?" the teacher asked. "Yeah, I belong in this school." Technically he wasn't lying. Oh my gosh, did he come here to stalk me? How'd he even know what class I had? Why is so creepy knowing everything about my life? Why is he so obsessive. I was waiting for him to say something annoying to me, but he didn't even look my way. He just went straight past me to some other person. Gave him a dap and didn't even notice me. Wow. I didn't know what I was feeling then. Nope, I didn't care, or was I just telling myself this to care less. Nah.
Demi walked in late, and I was so happy I wasn't by myself anymore. "Sup" she smiled. "Nothin." and then the class just became super quiet. Doesn't it feel weird when you say something and then the whole class just becomes quiet all at once.
8:20A.M., I had about 15 more minutes until I can get out of Justin's presence, unless he decides to leave now. Even though he still didn't notice me, I didn't want to be in the same room as him. I was trying to think of a way to leave the room and then I realized the hallway pass was free. Yes! I got up and grabbed the pass. "WAIT Cinderella!!" Oh my gosh, he's so emberrassing. I pretended not to hear Justin. "I have your slipper sandal thing!" He yelled as I just walked out the door.
Please say he doesn't follow me. I started walking to the girl's bathroom, he can't follow me there. I heard the classroom door shut, oh poop. I didn't even want to look back. "Waaaiit, why are you avoiding me?" He asked as if he didn't rememeber what happened last night. I gave him an are you serious look. "Oh, you think I care that you made out with my cousin?"
"Umm no, I didn't even get to do anything with him, it was much worse then that."
"It was like 5 or 6 years ago? Who cares? No one even really cared. Here's your slipper Cinderella." He said giving me my sandal.
"Thanks, but what's with all the princess names you're calling me?"
"You're a princess to me." He said smiling.
"You didn't even notice me until I got up."
"Yeah sorry I was busy noticing the hotter girls."
I made a face at him, especially because there was no other girls in the class when he walked in.
"By the way that slipper smelled just like your breath that morning." He smirked. Then he walked back into the classroom.
