The Price Of Fame

4- New members of my crew: Frank and JaQuel

I woke up the next morning at 7am. Thank god the choreography session won't start until 10am, so I still have time. I made breakfast, did my morning routine then put on some sweatpants, a crop top and some sneakers. It was now 10:30 am. So I went downstairs and got in the car.

We arrived to our destination at 9:45 am. When I got in, I found James talking to two men. "Good morning" I said. "Ah the star is early and glowing in the morning" said James which made all of us laugh. "Let me introduce you to your choreographers Frank Gatson and JaQuel Knight. They already have some great ideas." James introduced these men. "Hello, I am Frank Gatson and this is JaQuel Knight. Nice to meet you." Said the older man. "Nice to meet you too." I replied with a smile. "So for this music video, we thought that we can have 20 or 25 dancers and you in the middle. You won't do a lot of dancing if you want. And we will use a black and white background." Said JaQuel. "Um, I think that it's too much for this song. I have a vision where we will be just three people: me and two dancers. And the background should change from black to white and vice versa. The same thing for the lights. I just want this video to be simple yet catchy. So we definitely need some special moves that people will recognise the song from the moves and preferably hand moves since we have Put A ring On It." I tried to explain my vision but felt kind of embarrassed. "Wow!" They all said. "That's a great idea, Honey B! I'm so proud of you! See, I told you guys she's a real artist." James said proudly while putting his hand around my shoulders. "Yeah! She is. And I like that." Frank said. "You know what I'ma call ya? Queen B!!!" JaQuel exclaimed cheerfully. "So let's get started then!!" Said Frank.

After James left, we started rehearsing. I loved some of their moves, they were so cool. But we changed other moves because I didn't feel them and they just didn't feel right. After 4 hours of rehearsing, negotiating and enjoying our time, we decided to finish the routine the next day with the two dancers that we called earlier. Frank said they were good, so we hired them. So our job for today is done. Now I am going to my house to get ready for a late lunch date with James to discuss more details. So I took a shower, then put on an acid-washed pair of jeans, a white T-shirt , a black leather jacket and a pair of black heels. While I was putting my nude lipstick on, I got a message from James telling me that he is downstairs. So I took my purse, my sunglasses and phone.

When we arrived to the restaurant at 3pm, we ordered our meals than started our "meeting". "So today, we are discussing your image. Here is your new phone with new social media accounts such as Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook. There is also a new phone number so you should be careful and give it to those you know only." He handed me a new iPhone 5. "Wow! It's amazing. Thank you!" I said. "You're welcome. By the way, tomorrow at 1pm you have an interview. It will be a casual one just to get to know you better. It will take place in the dance studio so it will be easier. Britney and Natasha will be there at 11:30 am to help you get ready. By the way, the rehearsals tomorrow start at 8am so you should be ready by 7:30 am." James said. "Tomorrow's gonna be a looooong day." "Yeah! So you should sleep well. You have a busy day tomorrow, with rehearsals on the next day from 9am to 6pm then you get a break for 2 days before shooting the music video." "That's good. I think I'm gonna call my parents and invite them here to spend those days with me and stay to see the music video." I said. "That's a great idea!"
We finished our meal then headed home since it's already 6pm. So I changed into my pjs than watched some movies until I fell asleep.
