Our Lost Brother And Sister

chapter 2

Still Sabrina's POV:
I got out of the bathroom and saw Maya awake. Hi Maya, did you sleep well? I asked. Yeah I slept good, how about you? She asked. Good. I said. Now about that question I asked you yesterday. She said. What question? I said. You know what I'm talking about, Sab. She said. Oh no, what am I going to say. I thought to myself. Okay I'll tell you, but you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone about it, not even mom. I said. Okay I promise. Now tell me. She said. Do you remember 3 years ago when mom got angry at me, because I broke something, but it was an accident? I said. Yeah I remember. She said. Well when you got to our room, mom got even more angry at me and then she hit me, but not 1 time, she beat me up. I started to tear up. Now everytime she is angry and you're going to our room she is making me sit down again, she stands in front of me then hit me in the face, stomach and sometimes she kicks me. I said between sobs. Then I started to cry really loud. Maya stood up and hugged me really tight and didn't let go of me. Sab I had no idea, ipI also don't know how to help you. She said. You can help me by not leaving my side whn mom is angry. I said. Of course, you're my sister, I would do anything for you. She said. Thank you Maya, I love you. I said.

Maya's POV:
When Sabrina told me why she is scared, I started tear up inside. I couldn't believe mom would do something like that, but Sabrina wouldn't lie to me. She made me promise I wouldn't tell anyone so I won't do that. I heard our names. Maya, Sabrina!!!!! Come down here!! Mom yelled. We're coming. I yelled back. Are you coming Sab? I won't leave your side, I promise. I said. I took her hand and dragged her downstairs. What's wrong mom? Sabrina asked. I'm going away for 2 weeks, you will be fine on your own right? Mom said. Where are you going? I asked. I'm going to pick upnyour brother and sister. She said. Yeah we will be fine on our own. Sabrina said. Okay bye girls. Mom said. Bye mom. Sabrina and I said. Then mom left. So 2 weeks without mom, how do you feel about that? I asked. Finally 2 weeks without me being hit by her. I can finally be a normal girl for 2 weeks. She said. So what do you want to do? I asked. Maybe we could invite some friends. She said. That is a great idea Sab. I said. Who do you want to invite Maya? She asked. Well definitly Rowan and Riley, maybe Jasmine, Isabella, Sofia, Peyton C, Danny, Bradley, Jake, Lucas, Corey. I said. Oh and Jade, Darby, Olivia, Maddie, Laura, Lauren, Dove, Ryan, Dave, Hunter and James. That's it. She said. Who is gonna write the invitations? I asked. I'll do one half and you do the other half. She said.
