Chapter 1~ Finding out

Traci's  POV-

Me and Daphne were working on Trig homework for Carlton. I got a text from Emmett as mom picked up the phone.
Emmett <3 'Hey Trace. Whatcha doing?' I texted back,
Traci ^_^ 'Trig homework. Text you later ok?' Mom waved her hand in front of us. "We need to go somewhere okay?" She signed/said to us. "Yeah. Where are we going?" Daphne said. I nodded and got up. We walked out the door and we got into the car.

-time skip 2 weeks and they meet-

We found out that Daphne was switched at birth with a girl named Bay Kennish. She was my actual sister but she may have the same blood, but Daphne will always be my sister. We walked into the genetic coulsler and I saw them. The woman had red hair like Daphne and the man looked like her to. The girl looked almost just like me it was weird. They introduced themselves as John and Kathryn. The girl is Bay. They looked at us and we both said and signed, "Its nice to meet you." They look shocked that we were deaf.

They invited us to lunch and we were in the car. "He was the third basemen." Daphne said as we pulled in. "Wow they have a nice life." I said. "Hi guys. Daphne, Traci, This is Toby. Wow you two sure do look alike. Traci and Bay look alike too." Kathryn said. "No matter how loud you talk they can't hear you." Mom said. I laughed and everyone looked at me and I said sorry. We went to go in and mom signed 'Lunch in the mansion.' Me and Daphne signed, 'Be nice.'

When we went in to the house Kathryn said, "I made chicken enchiladas." Mom replied, "Daphne is a vegetarian. I dated a guy from a chicken plant. The stories we heard." "Actually I eat meat, I'm allergic to the corn mill in the tortilla." I said. "It's ok, we always find something." Me and Daphne said. "What's your full name?" John asked. "Daphne Paloma Vasquez and Traci Elizabeth Vasquez." Mom stated. "Nice. Beats Bay Madelene Kennish." Bay said smiling. "I think Bay is a beautiful name." Daphne said and I nodded.

After a while Toby was showing us around. They started playing basketball. I cheered Daphne on as my phone vibrated. I had gotten a text from Emmett reading~
Emmett <3 'Hey Trace, can you help me with Trig? I need to ace it or my Mom will take my bike,'

Traci ^_^ 'Okay. I'll have My Mom take me to your place. And we are at Daphne's real family's house.'

Emmett <3 'The Kennishes?!?! Cool!!! Anyway tell Daphne I said Hi!'

Traci ^_^ 'Okay. :/'

I sighed. I was hopelessly in love with Emmett. Mom came out and said she was leaving and that John would take us home. I ran up to her and said, "Mom, Emmett asked me if I could help him with his homework. Can I go?" I asked and she nodded. We said goodbye to Daphne and started on the way to the Bleudsoe household.
