Chapter 4~ Confessing to Emmett

Traci POV~

The sunlight burn my eyes as I opened them. I went into the bathroom and winced. My cheeks were still tear stained and my hair was a rats nest. I thought about what Daphne has that I don't. Maybe I dress to dark for Emmett. Daphne wears light colors and floral. I went to my closet and grabbed a red sundress, a grey jacket, a pair of ripped black tights, and a pair of  floral print wedges. I put my hair in a high ponytail and put on a charmed choker. I checked my phone and I was shocked.

Emmett💗💗💗 'Traci??!! I'm so so so sorry!!'

Natalie 😃😃😃 'Are you okay? Emmett keeps texting me and Hilary about you?!?!?!'

I sighed. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a poptart. Daphne came in and asked me, "What are you wearing?? Floral and light colors? Not your style. And Emmett kept texting me and saying he was an idiot. Do you know what that was about?"  "I don't know." I signed harshly. I grabbed my stuff and said, "I'm gonna walk. Bye Daphne see you in trig class."

-time skip to trig class-

I was sitting at my desk for 10 minutes when Daphne and Emmett came in. Emmett looked at me with a hurt expression. One single tear rolled down my cheek as I looked away. The teacher started the lesson as I looked at the board. It read:

Trig. Project with Partners
Partners:
Emmett B. and Traci V.
Daphne V. and Travis H.
Matt E. And Lana W.
Aisha Q. And Michael M.

Great. Just Great. I looked at Emmett, who was looking at me longingly. I sighed and looked at the teacher.

-time skip to lunch-

I got my salad and sat down. Emmet came up and started to sign, "What did I do? I'm sorry ok? I care about you so much." I glared "No you don't. You don't know how much I CARE about YOU!! Emmett I have been in love with you since you saved me and Daphne from those hearing kids!" Emmett stopped and stared at me. I started tearing up and I said, "I'm so stupid. You love Daphne." Tears started to fall when Emmett just stood up and walked away.

I ran home and broke down as soon as the door closed. Mom and Daphne came up to me. "Traci!!! Are you okay? What happened?" Mom asked. They both knew I loved Emmett. "I told Emmett."  I signed. "What happened?" Daphne asked. "He just stood up and walked away." I broke down sobbing even more. Daphne got up and took out her phone. She went into her room. Mom got me up and started to make me tea.

Daphne's POV~

I was so furious. I took out my phone to text Emmett.

Daphne😜😜😜 'Emmett! How could you do that to my sister!!!!!! She is in the living room bawling her eyes out!'

Emmett 📷🎥📹 'What?? I was in shock. I didn't know what to do. I'm so so sorry I'll be right over.'

Daphne 😜😜😜 'No. Don't you dare. You broke her heart Emmett.'

Emmett 📷🎥📹 'Im sorry ok? Tell her to text me plz'

Daphne 😜😜😜 'Fine. Do you even have feelings for her.'

I sighed. I came out and saw Traci still crying. I texted Emmett again.

Traci's POV

I ended up crying myself to sleep on Mom's shoulder. I woke up around midnight and went into the bathroom. I was going to do something I never wanted to do again.
