@It was a sunny day today it was also hot today considering it's summer which means a perfect day to go to the beach. dave drove into the beach parking lot "okay guys we're here" dave said as he opened his door and got out then he went to the backseat door and opened it for the boys to get out. "Finally" alvin said as he jumped out of the car and stretch "i can't wait to get in the water" he said as simon and theodore got out " wait alvin we have to wait for samantha and miles" dave informed him alvin gave an ignoring sigh "why can't we wait by the water?" alvin said "cause there's alot of people here and i don't want you guys to get lost especially you alvin" dave said. Alvin pretended to look hurt "why dad do you think that i would cause trouble here too?" simon and theodore looked at eachother for a second before they turned to back to alvin "yes" both boys said. Alvin rolled his eyes and said " whatever" dave came back from the trunk where all of their beach toys and chairs were "don't worry alvin there'll be in just a minu-" before dave could finish his last sentence they heard a car honk behind them and turned to see samantha's car parking by dave's car samantha and miles got out and went over to said hi "hi dave hi boys" samantha greeted as miles opened their trunk and got their beach stuff out too then he closed it went by his mom's side "hey dave hey guys" miles greeted "hey now that we're all here can we go to the water now it's so hot out here i feel like i'm melting" alvin said dave chuckle a little then said "ok alvin we can go" "YES!!! finally" alvin said with excitement and ran to the water. When they got there alvin immediately dive right into the water dave then set up his beach stuff while simon was getting his inflatable chair blown up with some help from miles then when he was done miles put simon's inflatable chair on the water while alvin watched them. Why does he always sit in that chair whenever we come here? he shrugged it off then continued to swim once simon's inflatable chair was set up he grabbed his book and jumped on it then miles pushed the chair a little. the rest of the day was fun for the chipmunks and miles until Dave called to get packed up so they can go home. Alvin was upset but reluctantly agreed and got out of the water but what no one noticed was when Simon tried to paddle his chair back to the surface he somehow lost his balance and fell in the water his book floating in the water. Back on the surface everybody had already got their stuff pack and ready to go when Dave noticed that one of the chipmunks was missing "hey has anyone seen Simon?" Samantha,Alvin,Theodore,and miles all shook their heads no "the last time I saw him was when I helped him blew up his inflatable chair up and pushed to a little to the edge like he asked me" miles said "he's probably is into those stupid books that he couldn't hear you calling" Alvin said annoyed miles then look to where he had pushed him but when he looked Simon wasn't sitting in his chair "um...probably because he's not on his chair" miles said scared "why?" asked Theodore "l..look" miles said as he pointed to his chair everyone turned their heads and saw that he wasn't on his chair and his book was by the chair floating in the water. Alvin looked worry a little then went the edge of the water and started to call out for his brother "Simon!" no response what happened to him? where is he? Alvin thought as he called for simon again this time the others joined him "Simon!!" still no response so they tried again "Simon!!!" Still no response Dave was getting even more worry and so was Alvin. as they were about to call to him the fourth time Alvin saw bubbles surfaced by the book and he knew then what happened to Simon. he gasped and without warning Alvin dove right back in the water to look for his brother while Dave was trying to get him back to the surface but Alvin just ignored his dad's voice and kept on swimming to where simon's chair and book was. Once he was under his book he dove straight down but it was dark down their that he couldn't see anything so he started to feel the ocean floor until he felt some kind of hard plastic he picked it up and held it in front of his face to see more better. His eyes widen once he realized he was holding simon's black glasses he put them in his pocket than begin to feel the ocean floor again 10 minutes later he felt the under his hand he immediately grabbed it then as he adjusted what he figured (and hope) was his brother and quickly swam right back to the surface meanwhile back on the surface the others were frantically searching the water for the two boys "oh. what if we never see them again" Theodore said with worry "don't worry Theodore we'll see them again" Dave said as he picked up Theodore and hugged I hope Dave thought as they resume their search. Just then bubbles slowly surfaced near them and soon Alvin came up from the water with Simon in his arms and began to swim to the others "Alvin!" the others yelled as miles came and helped Alvin he grabbed both Simon and himself and got them to the surface than he gently put them back down on the sand Alvin was taking a minute to catch he's breath then Theodore jumped out of Dave's embrace and hugged Alvin. he smiled down at theodore and said "I'm fine Theodore" Theodore smiled back up at Alvin than he let go to hug Simon but Alvin saw him froze and realized miles,Samantha,and Dave was crowding around something than he saw Samantha pulling out her stethoscope from her bag he quickly crawled over to the crowd and got in-between miles and Theodore he gasped there lay Simon unconscious and probably not breathing. Samantha quickly "he's not breathing but if we hurry we have to give him cpr he might survive" Samantha informed the group "but who?" miles asked as the commotion continued on Alvin crawled next to Simon and gently stroked his damp hair he sighed oh Simon I'm sorry than he spoke up "I'll do it" the others looked at him than they looked at each other and shrugged than Samantha asked "Alvin do you know how to do cpr?" Yes I do i've been watching hospital shows with simon " Samantha nodded for him to do it. Alvin sighed and began. (sorry guys I don't know anything about cpr so I'm just gonna skip to where he wake up) 10 minutes later every one heard someone taking a huge gasp of air than started to cough and splutter water out of his mouth Alvin gasped and helped Simon sit up once all of the water was out of simon's mouth he groaned and opened his eyes slowly he could make out blurry shapes,colors,and faces Alvin than remembered simon's glasses and got them out of his pocket and dried them off from a towel than he got into he middle of everyone and put them on his face. Simon blinked twice than open his eyes and look around for a second before looking at his friend and family smiling at him reassuringly after a few more minute Simon finally spoke up "what happened?" the others gave a sigh of relief as Theodore hugged simon which he was confused on than the others started to explain as much as they can to him after they were done Simon looked surprise to that Alvin saved him than he remember what happened. When he fell of his chair he was trying to swim up and call for help but he couldn't and he had started to lose air until he fell unconscious than he turned to Alvin and said "thank you Alvin for saving me" Alvin smiled at him than said "no problem bro you maybe anoying to me sometimes but your my brother and I'll always love you" Simon smiled and hugged him Alvin hugged back to happy that his brother was alive after that dave picked Simon up than put him in the car with his brothers jumping in the car than miles came with simon's stuff and put them in the trunk than miles said bye to the boys "bye guys hope you feel better soon simon" Simon just waved goodbye before Dave closed the door than he got in the driver's seat and drove off home.
