They sang and Lucy look at them with her red eyes. That slowly turned back, with tears in her eyes and blood in her hand she feared the worst. She was almost done transforming into a blood thirsty monster.

Lucy said "I'm so sor-"
When she was shot by a arrow. Everyone's eyes widen, Nastu ran to catch her everyone else chase after him except Erza, who was looking for the shooter. Lucy was busy apologizing that she didn't check her surroundings. Erza spotted them, it was a 50 foot shot. It was an assassin and a man. Erza's presence was more intense. The assassin could sense her presence, and quickly fled into the dark.

Lucy was still falling, her eyes were widen and but was slowly closing. Nastu was running. He ran as fast as he could. He promised to be there for her. He wasn't going to let her go. Lucy was in reach. He caught her. He held her tightly. He looked at Lucy's eyes.. They seemed dead... Lucy looked faint. Wendy, Gray, Happy, Carla were looking at her. But she just smiled.

The arrow wasn't in any of her vital system. But she wasn't looking good. Wendy tried to cure her but she needed doctors to give her medical treatment. Gray tried to help Leo call the Queen. Carla and Happy carried Lucy quickly to the hospital's Emergency Medical Room.

The Queen arrived and told her everything that happened and asks-no begged her help Lucy. As Mavis heard what happened, her eyes widen and screams with her hands on her head. Everyone haven't seen the Queen so upset before. She was always so calm and patient with everything.

At the hospital with everyone

Everyone who knew Lucy, was there waiting for the doctors. When the doctors called the Queen to them, she seem to be in shock. Everyone began to worry. Nastu was the first to ask if she was okay. The Queen (Mavis, you know what I'll call her Mavis now) entered Lucy's room. It was silent for a while. Then Nastu and the others heard screaming from the room. Doctors rushed in, Nurses began to barricade the door and summoned expert healing fairies.

Everyone asked Mavis was happened in the room. Mavis sat down and her eyes told a different story then what she was saying. She began to speak.

"Lucy was in bed looking at the roof. They told me that she was spaced out and not responding to the doctors. So they asked me to go in, and talk to her if it would make her talk. Lucy sat there and when she saw me... She... She..."

"What did she do?" Asked Nastu.

"She began to scream and shout that they got her and it's happening again. She was screaming then she suddenly stopped and the heart rate went down. The doctors ran in with the nurses. They told me to wait a while and that she isn't stable. Then healing fairies came. And was okay again. But they told me that she should stay here a while."

"Lucy... What happened to you in your transformation?..." Gray thought.

"Who shot you and why you?" Asked Erza thought.

" Luce ... I'm sorry I couldn't help your wounds. *began to cry*" said Wendy to the window looking at Lucy's room.

"Lucy... Why... Why were you smiling? And how can I protect you and that smile?" Said Nastu to himself as he stared at a thing Lucy gave him, it was a Broken Key and a small flower.

Flashback

Back at the tower.. Lucy was looking at her tower that she had grown to remember. Nastu walks to her. Lucy looks at him with a smile. She hands him a pair of things in a small bag.

"If something ever happens to me or anyone else is in danger because of me... Show me these but only when I've been shot or hurt. My memories would be back and I'll be able control myself.." She smiled as if she experience it before.
