Chapter 14: Second Task

Ally's POV-
Me and Cedric for weeks had discussed what we are going to do for the second task. I even let it slip about me becoming an amagius and a metamorphmagus at the same time. He said I was planned out and that he was too. He was going to use the Bubble Head charm. Alex had disappeared the day before the task. I wish she would tell me why she left. I had texted her till ten o clock last night. I was given my maroon bathing suit, which by the way shows even more skin then a regular bikini!! It has a zigzag thing connect the two parts of my top part showing skin in between my YUCK!
I had red hair that day and so I put my red hair into a bun. I stepped into the air and took a boat ride to the dock. When the gun shot, I dived in. I changed into a fish which is high level "transfiguration" that I did. Or at least made it seem like I did. Me and Cedric met up. I was a gold fish at the moment. It was SOO cool! You don't notice you are breathing and you have fabric that pushes you body forward. Cedric smirked at my small size. I can't see why you are smirking Cedric because your the one that has the big bubble on you nose and mouth. Anyways we swam together to get our prize. We got there at the same time and he broke the ropes that held our prize in place. My prize was Alex, his was a friend. I changed back to a human and swam forward with Alex in my hand. But then the mermaids that protected the kids scrapped my leg. I started screaming. I have super powers but I can't breathe under water. I tossed Alex up and turned into a fish. A mermaid took me in her hands. A half shark half human passed by. He took Hermione. It was Victor Krum. He didn't notice it was me and swam pass. I changed back and did the bubble spell. I started screaming but no one could hear me. The mermaid kept on scaring my legs. They were digging for blood I suppose. Why did they attack me though? I am just a person in a competitive game. THAT I DON'T TO BE IN. I just noticed that Alex was wearing a red dress and was now swimming. I knew Liam would hug her to death then wrap a towel around her. Soon she would notice I'm missing and who knows what stage of dying from mermaids I would be at. Cedric has probably noticed already and is getting help, I hope. What a fun way to die. Who has ever heard of dying from mermaids? Then someone swooped in when I was losing my sight. Then I was lifted to air where I could see someone staring right at me with hope.
