Ricky's POV
------------------------------------------------------------
Silence.
That's all that I have heard for the past few days..nothing but nothing. I walk down the cement path as Avenged Sevenfold blasts into my eardrums with the quiet sound of rubber tires stumbling across the street. A few minutes passed and I make my way into my apartment. It's nothing big. It's big enough for the reason I'm down here.
I drop my bag onto the small couch and head into my bedroom, falling down onto it, not even caring about my makeup or my clothes. I roll onto my back, taking out a deep sigh once my phone vibrated in my hand, I turned on the bright light of the phone on to read a message from a friend of mine, Angelo saying he was going to stop by to copy some of my notes from class. I groaned and got up from the bed to make a sandwich for both me and him. As soon as I finished, the doorbell rang. I walked over to it and opened it, revealing a panting Angelo on the other side. "Uh...come on in?" I say with question in my voice. "T-thanks dude..." He then stumbled into my apartment, aiming towards my couch which me fallen onto. "My notes are in my bag..." I softly say as I head back into the kitchen to grab a bite of my sandwich. "Ricky..thank you so much..I swear, Ms. Wynne is a douche. Decided to keep me after class for stupid shit..." He ranted as he went through my stuff, grabbing my notes. "It's her fault that you kept spitting spitballs to the chick in front of you." I walked over to him and handed him the other sandwich which he took. "I don't know what you are talking about..she is fine." I chuckled softly as we both starting eating.
Once we finished and he finished taking my notes, I turned on the TV and the News flashed on screen. "This just in; A rare sickness has appeared in the state and already have 21 people ill." The man on the screen explained. "Oh...I have heard about this..It's actually really bad. My neighbor's daughter caught it and she has been bedridden ever since." Angelo explained, quickly grabbing the remote and changing the channel to 'The Office'. 'That's terrible' I think to myself as I put that in my mind to put into my report tomorrow.
A few hours pasted and Angelo left a while ago. I pulled out my laptop and added the news report to my report. Once I did, I closed my computer and pulled open my window to let some air in. But I changed my mind..I decided to jump out. But, I later rose back up in the air with a pair of white wings caring me across the night sky. I needed these bad boys to breathe since it's been a while. I glided around for a while and saw what happens at night. Sometimes..I could feel some peoples sorrow and pain as I passed by. I always feel bad for them. I then later land back into my apartment, my wings vanishing. I stretched and yawned, taking off my clothes, going into the bathroom to wipe off my makeup, then kinda jumping into bed.
Oh...wait...I never introduced myself.
My name is Ricky Olsen.
And I am a Guardian Angel.
