Why didn't I expect this earlier.
It has happened once today
And another coincidence. My eyes widened at the picture in the file, looking up at the name.
'Christopher Cerulli'
"As if I don't have enough on my plate from him already!" I tossed it on the table in front of me, making everything slip off. I stood up and paced my room quickly. "I gotta head back downstairs!" I yelled and walked for the door. "Ricky!" Vinny yelled at me and I jerked around to face him. He was pointing at his wings. I noticed what he was talking about, blushing with embarassment, I made my wings disappear and dashed downstairs.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting for so long." I flashed a smile and sat back down next to him. He looked over at me and nodded his head. I sighed and looked at Chris from the corner of my eye. But..I felt something and it wasn't anger or anything like that. It was...sadness and sorrow. That wasn't something I was expecting.
Chris' POV
I kept hearing Ricky's voice and like another faint voice with him but it wasn't my business so I didn't care. But for some reason, talking with him for 2 and a half hours, I kinda wanna know more about him. Like; why he lives alone and his life before he came to the school. I know its kinda personal but I was curious. Yeah yeah...I know I messed with him..I get I was a terrible person. I didn't want to follow in my parents footsteps of abusing me.I finally stood up from sitting for 3 hours and grabbed my stuff. Ricky stood up with me and smiled. "Thanks...I guess.." I said awkwardly, rubbing the crook of my neck. "Y-yeah..so same time next week?" I heard the smaller male ask me. I nodded and walked to the door after we exchanged waves.
For some reason...
Through the night sky.
I saw a shining light in his eyes.
