Prologue

Hello My Dear,

Please meet me in the garden after school.
I have one of your early birthday present prepared for you.

Oh William!

I smile to myself before grabbing my bag and try to leave the schooling room.

"Where are you going?" Grell pouts. "You need to study more missy."

"Oh come on Grell! I know you're as bored as I am."

Grell sighs.

"Fine, but you better study the Chapter 13 on the conflict between Reapers, Angels, and Demons."

"Promise!" I smile before opening the window and jumping out of it.

"And make sure not to get green stains on that red dress!!" Grell yells at me.

I smile and land on my feet without an problems before running to the garden.

My birthday is a few weeks away and everyone is making a big deal of it. I like it, but it's not a big deal.

I arrive at the gazebo and look around at the red and black roses. Finny has been busy planting flowers of my favorite colors, it's weird because he's never done it for my other birthdays.

I sit down and look at the manor.

It's so beautiful with the flowers and the light of the sunset illuminating it.

"My dear, are you ready for your surprise?" William asks, walking toward me.

"Of course! I always love your surprises." I grin at him.

He returns the smile, it makes me happy due to him almost never actually smiling.

"I actually have three surprises Caitryn, but you have to close your eyes."

I nod and cover my eyes, refusing to peek.

I hear shuffling and feel a smooth yet cool chain wrap around my throat.

"You can open now."

I open my eyes and look down. Around my neck is a beautiful necklace made of black diamonds and gems.

"William! I love it!" I grin, hugging him.

"Only the best for you." He smiles back, returning the hug. "Now the next surprise."

I look up at him.

"I'm sure it's better than the first." I giggle happily.

William looks to the tree line.

Undertaker walks out of the trees and waves at me, grinning, showing that creepy smile of his.

Undertaker is holding a lead.

I tilt my head curiously. Then I squeel in absolute pleasure as a pure black Horse walks from the trees.

"Happy birthday my love." William smiles, kissing my cheek.

"I absolutely love it William. Thank you so much."

"Well now we can go riding, are you ready?" He asks, now completely serious.

"Of course!!" I yelp, running towards my horse.
