Chapter 3~ Let me out

The next day Skylar woke up early so she could go down to the lab . When she got there she slowly opened the door trying not to make any noise. When Skylar got in she slowly shut the door and went looking for Ryan. Moments after she heard someone say very faintly "Help me "Skylar then turned around to find Ryan in a cage chained to the side and pieces of wood on every inch of his body. Wood is a vampires weakness. "Oh my god!" Skylar opened the cage and spent hours pulling out bits and pieces of wood. When she was done Ryan was still very weak. "what can I do to help you?" Skylar asked "Nothing" Ryan replied "that's not true "Skylar stated then got up and grabbed a knife "Don't Skylar!" Ryan yelled while using all his strength to get up, as he did that Skylar took the knife to her wrist and slid the sharp blade across it, just after she did that, warm blood started dripping from the wound .Ryan's eyes turned red as he turned away "Ryan please" Skylar begged, Ryan looked at her and said "I don't want to hurt you" "you wont, I trust you" Skylar encouraged Ryan took a few steps closer to Skylar and grabbed her arm "Are You sure?" Skylar pushed her arm closer to Ryan. In seconds Ryan's mouth was attached to Skylar's arm, She groaned in pain. Moments after that her Dad walked in, "Dad! its not what it looks like!" Skylar yelled just as she said that He pulled the trigger. Ryan fell to the ground screaming in pain as Skylar's Dad pulled her out of the building. Many guys picked up Ryan and threw him back in the cage then left, all except one. "Are you ok?" the guy asked Ryan "Fine" he groaned "you know that's my sister you were feeding off of" the guy mentioned "Okay Its not what it looks like I didn't hurt her!" Ryan defended "I know "the guy said "What?" Ryan asked "we saw everything. This room is filled with cameras, My dad got mad because she chose your side" the guy explained "Why aren't you mad?" Ryan asked "I was once in love with a girl, that was also a vampire "Skylar's brother explained "what was her name?" Ryan asked "Haley ,I would sneak out to see her and after a while my dad caught on and killed her, I was heart broken and I don't want that happening to Skylar" it was quiet for a bit in till Ryan finally said "can you help me get out?" "I'll try, I'm Ian by the way" Ian said while holding out his hand for Ryan to shake it, Ryan shook his hand and said "Thank you" Ian got up and opened the door "wait!" Ryan yelled Ian looked at him and said "yeah?" "I would do anything to make your sister happy and safe" Ryan stated "I know you would" Ian replied and left.
