Chapter 2~ Theres a secret behind everyone

Skylar woke up that morning on her peacock feather filled mattress. she then rubbed her big brown eyes, Put her hair up and ran downstairs for breakfast to start her big day. "so Dad' she said while scooping big spoon fills of her favorite cereal lucky charms into her mouth "yes honey" he said with chuckles "are you going to tracker town today??" she asked "Tracker town" is what humans called The other side of the wall. "yes, me and the guys are, your not coming! " he explained "But Daddy! " Skylar wined "no ands ,ifs, or buts! its a no!" Skylar sighed and ran out of the house not finishing her breakfast. Skylar then went on a walk to the wall. As Skylar approached the wall she felt her body getting colder and colder. In tracker town it is extremely cold, no ones heart is beating, therefor there body isn't producing heat witch makes it cold. Skylar then touched the cold, dark wall and wondered what the other side holds . Just then Skylar heard patrol entering tracker town , she bounced up and took giant leaps for the trucks . When Skylar got there she constantly was ducking so her Dad and brothers couldn't see her . After they all entered, the door started closing , Skylar took a big breath "there's no turning back now" she softly said to herself and ran threw the opening. When Skylar got in town she saw vampires everywhere! they didn't look as she excepted, they were very pale! and weak looking. Just as Skylar took a few steps a vampire noticed her, he smiled greatly and started running after her. Skylar ran and ran in till she could no longer hear the monster. She took a few steps and fell to the ground, as she did that someone caught her, Skylar turned her head to see who it was. He was very tall, he had big blue eyes and brown hair that went to the left side of his forehead. Skylar screamed in fear "your one of them" she screamed "I wont hurt you" just as he said that a cage fell on top of him.Skylar looked up and her Dad was glaring at her with anger. "what were you thinking?!?" he yelled "Daddy..I'm sorry" Skylar whispered ,just as she said that patrol picked up the cage and put it in the back of Skylar's fathers truck. As they did that Kyle, Skylar's brother picked her up and threw her in the back of the truck beside the cage that held the vampire "Daddy! why do I have to sit here?" she wined "I want you to learn your lesson" he angrily said. For most of the ride it was quiet in till Skylar heard a voice say "I'm Ryan" she turned to the vampire and said "what?" "I'm Ryan" he repeated "oh..um..I'm Skylar" Ryan then smiled and held out his pale hand for her to shake it, Skylar grabbed his cold hand as she did that she felt a sense of comfort. Ryan smiled and said "help me.." then got cut off by the patrol guys pulling him off the truck and throwing him into a lab. Skylar felt her heart drop, like she felt bad for him "No he's a vampire" she thought to herself "he kills humans" when they got home Skylar went straight up to her bedroom all she could think about was Ryan! he was different! If only her Dad could see that.
